Well it's just my opinion, i'm no profesional coach. I just prefer Marchisios work rate and the discipline he brings to his position, for me two roaming players with Vidal and Pogba in 3 man midfield is too much.

Yeah man, work rate, I know that in these here juventuz parts its sort of a funny term to argue on 
but anyway, marchisio keeps his position very well and isn't too adventagious(dunno the correct word or the spelling?) but is very inteligent on the pitch, that's why I like him and think he suits very well and better then pogba with our two best midfielders of the team.

They are both world class players with different strengths and weaknesses and totally different play styles. One doesn't > the other. His work rate is second to none. Apart from Pirlo believe me Marchisio is the smartest player we have. With those runs that he makes tirelessly all over the pitch he is pulling players creating holes that Vidal, Pirlo, Vucinic etc take advantage of. Also when these opposing coaches decide "lets man mark Pirlo" it gives Marchisio even more space to make to run around free and make he's tradmark bullet speed runs into the box which Pogba simply cannot do. A perfect example of this would be the first UCL match against Chelsea last season.

Not really, a team lost, maybe we would have done better with marchisio maybe not, there is no point in trying to put blame and imagine what would have been. It's just that I think we stand more chances with Marchisio then with Pogba in the starting lineup.
Anyway with Marchisio coming from injury we will see if with him we will play better, cos i'm pretty sure that he will walk in the starting lineup with the first chance he will get.
I like how people assume he will simply just walk back into the starting lineup, as if it is some sort of god given right or entitlement just cuz it's Marchisio. He has to earn his place ffs!

Looking at our results so far this season, we have yet to lose a single competitive game, so I fail to see this apparent "need" for Marchisio. We created more chances than any other team in the CL last nite; I fail to see how Marchisio's presence would have changed any of that.

Bianconero81, this year so far for me Marchisio is better and can help the team more. Soon we will see how better or worse we will play with him.

You guys are that are saying Pogba is better than Marchisio are simply wrong. Pogba may make assists and score a crazy goal but what Pogba doesnt do which is defend and mark well, Marchisio does alot better. Marchisio is still better than Pogba if anything I dont think Pogba will be ready till another 2 years. Marchisio will improve the team and he will earn his spot back. Pogba doesnt fight like Marchisio and vidal do when they lose possession.
