Bianconero81, this year so far for me Marchisio is better and can help the team more. Soon we will see how better or worse we will play with him.
And you're basing this statement on what exactly? Have you seen him enough this season to pass such a judgment? Or you're speaking in general? It's incredible what one can read on this thread. So far this season Pogba has been better simply because he played more. Further more Marchisio's unsuccessful adventure as AM last year was invented mostly to accommodate pressing need for Pogba's inclusion into starting 11. Benching Pogba simply because it's Marchiso is beyond stupid and hopefully it won't be criteria.

I need to see more of Pogba as a starter before I can make any judgement on him. Hell, even Janet could start a few strong games for Juve before the reality set in. (And Krasic, and Diego, and ... etc., etc.)

You guys are that are saying Pogba is better than Marchisio are simply wrong. Pogba may make assists and score a crazy goal but what Pogba doesnt do which is defend and mark well, Marchisio does alot better. Marchisio is still better than Pogba if anything I dont think Pogba will be ready till another 2 years. Marchisio will improve the team and he will earn his spot back. Pogba doesnt fight like Marchisio and vidal do when they lose possession.
This guy. I don't think his own mother defends him as much. :sergio:

And that's quite reasonable thing to assume. Who knows maybe pressure will get to him. We'll see.

Based on what i have seen from Marchisio, I already know what to expect from him. And Marchisio isn't an AM, he's a CM.
He played there unsuccessfully at the end of the last season and of course he's not AM. He sucks there. Unwatchable, abysmal...

Claudio Marchisio is hoping to return to action on Sunday in Juventus’ home game against Verona.

The Italian international has been sidelined since picking up a knee injury in August’s Italian Super Cup Final win over Lazio.

The midfielder had been pencilled in to be at the disposal of boss Antonio Conte for next week’s midweek round tie at Chievo.

However, the 27-year-old could be named in the squad for the Week 4 action if he doesn’t suffer any fitness setbacks between now and the Juventus Stadium tie.

all posts lamenting his absence are indirectly claiming that, the clear better player is starting
How is that the same?

Besides, does it really matter who of the 2 the better individual player is? For me, it doesn't. What I care about is what's best for the team, or in other words: putting the best possible team out there.

Which, in regards to Marchisio, inevitably leads to a very simple question: is the team better with or without Marchisio in it?

I haven't seen anything (yet?) to point me in the "without" direction. Others probably will have, going by what you tend to read on here.

How you go about fielding him or who needs to make room for him is an entirely different matter.

Obviously.

You'd think that would be the case for everyone.
