What I don't understand is why are all these Arsenal supporters defending Capello like he's some sort of supreme being? Have you lot watched all our matches? ....
No defence of Capello from me, was just pointing out that fans the world over discuss exactly the same things and it doesn't seem to matter whether your team is doing well or poorly.

I am quite shocked that a coach who is winning his second league in a row is receiving so much criticism, but then I don't watch every game. I'd assume that it's something similar to how a few Chelsea supporters feel about Mourinho.

I would say that Zlatan wasn't nearly as bad on tuesday as some of you guys say though; of that I'm certain.

Have you a clue about what our performances in the Champions League and Serie A looked like the past year? Do you have any tactical sense at all for this game? It seriously seems like Arsenal fans are overrating Capello just to enhance their own glory, which doesn't really make any sense at all. If you lot seriously watched all out matches you would surely have a different opinion..

And this defense of Capello also seems very suspicious considering many Arsenal supporters hold their brand of entertaining football just as high as some of their winnings over the years. Yet they defend a manager who plays the most boring brand of football on the planet and argue he's not very much at fault for this disaster...seriously what the hell is this..

If you love Capello so much why don't you lot take him and give us Wenger...that would be a nice switch for a change..

Cann't blame them... they want Arsenal to qualify so they better praise CapelLoL's wisdom...

chelsea fans are morons, really totally morons. trust me, i watch epl football sometimes and one tv channel shows chelsea tv program live talk and phonecalls, and if chelsea seems to have one bad game or just bad performance while winning, they already say sack mourinho and even that under ranieri chelsea was better...

LOL, did they ever won epl with ranieri? NO, now they will win it second year in the row! and they play usually well in epl games, just sometimes have a bad game.

while under cap, we really play poorly, in europe and in seria a also, look what is going on, opponent team usually scores before and then we get that 2-1 win or something like that. i cant even say its just to keep the energy or something like that. we dont play organized football, we play that long balls s--t.

And now i really do understand why cap is the mastre of seria a, he doesnt concentrate on europe!
Did he won something with roma? no, he even didnt make it past group stage. With milan he had a very good team and he just had to win CL.

i would understand his focus on seria a, if it would be his first season with juve, something like to show our officials that he was a good signing to replace lippi, but now we have that second season and he still concentrates only seria a. i dont care if we had some players missing, loosing 2:0 do epl team whos 5th in the league is just too much, 1:0 ok, but 2:0, pathetic result.

and ok, one thing is, if we had one bad game in europe, but no, look what happened against bremen, what a way to win the tie. That just shows how pure luck is so important in our games. AND where is organization, why we play so ugly football under capello?

Because to recognize Capello for the fumbling clod that he is in the CL would be to take away from Arsenal's accomplishments. It's a lot more invigorating to feel that David has beaten Goliath soundly, not some guy named Merv who lives down the street in a Dumpster(tm).

But the fact is that 'Merv' made it past Werder Bremen by the skin of his teeth...

Exactly. Therefore, some of their opinions on this matter are virtually worthless.

That's one of the most ridiculous posts I have seen in this thread. Arsenal was clearly the better side on Tuesday and clearly more fit to win the Champions League this season. It just boggles my mind how a filled with youngters can simply destroy a Juventus side with seasoned internationals in every single position barring one. That's just an absolute disgrace and since this is basically a trend now there is only one person to blame. You have to give Arsenal respect, however if we didn't have Capello in charge perhaps the result would have been a little better..
Why is my post the most ridiculous one you've ever read when my point was exactly that?

I pointed to Buffon's earlier comments and tried to find out why we lost, because - although we were inferior to them on Tuesday night - we shouldn't be normally, as we have a better squad.

Pay more attention.

Actually, we payed around 45 mil € + Bachini for Buffon, and around 30 mil € for Thuram, and I believe around 10 mil € for Zambrotta.

Cannavaro was a direct swap for Carini tho.
If these are right, then it proves my point on Zambrotta and Cannavaro, that it was much less than that.

and for Thuram and Buffon, I thought it is around that too.

We did NOT lose the first game due to Arsenal being a better side, that's just bullshit.
That is why your post is ridiculous. How on earth was Arsenal NOT the better side on Tuesday? How are they not a better side in Europe currently overall?

Pay attention? Perhaps pay attention to the match a bit more my friend..

okay, I think that I'm starting to understand now.

I wouldn't read too much into Arsenal being 5th in the league though; we are still the most technically gifted squad in the league, we were just struggling against certain tactics that have been employed against us this year as well as some unexpected poor form from some of our senior players.

You do realise that Chelsea play very boring football too?

To swag, you're wrong mate, we don't care who we beat, as long as we win the cup with nice football.

Could someone tell me what the footballs under my name mean?

:agree:

1- Arsenal played his best game ever.
2- Juventus played his worst game ever.

That's a true fact.

I was AT the match, "friend".
and when did I say "On Tuesday"?
I'm just saying we're a better side than Arsenal.

Of course we weren't on Tuesday. We lost. I'm stunned at your comments :)

sometimes, sometimes not, but that isnt even the point, i was talking about organized play, they have that, players move also a lot, but juve players and formation, oh god, long balls and no movement when it comes to attack, ibra, trez stay up front and only way balls get to them are those longball passes.

for example, lampard playing in the middle and helping attack, we should do the same with nedved/mutu, neddy quality comes out in the middle when he attacks, but cap plays him on the wing and then he has to play more defensively, though he still trys to go through the middle, but then the wing is free for the opponent, so he just has to return to that position, under this 4-4-2.

You make about as much sense as a dyslexic commentator. :D

Again, how on earth are they not the better side? Sure, we have the better players, however that means fuckall in football. If we are talking about who is the better TEAM, Arsenal clearly takes that label. How on earth can you say anything differently?
