You make about as much sense as a dyslexic commentator. :D

Again, how on earth are they not the better side? Sure, we have the better players, however that means fuckall in football. If we are talking about who is the better TEAM, Arsenal clearly takes that label. How on earth can you say anything differently?
Look, I'm agreeing to them being the better side on Tuesday night but I believe we are the better team because of the players we have and how they play their football at their best.
Reason I posted that post earlier was to instill something in the Juve supporters:
On the day, we can beat this Arsenal team. They're not invincible!

I don't like being attacked like that by an obviously grumpy individual who stated earlier and I quote: "I wish Capello would die."

THAT'S RIDICULOUS. Spoiled Brat.

then why the f--k we didnt kick arsenal? and its not only that one night fgs. we s--ked against liverpool and bremen also. thats why it is so humilating, you say we are better side, better players, then how we loose to young players who should lack of expierence? we play consistently poorly.

Sure thing, Stephan, we didn't perform on Tuesday and I was as dissapointed as anyone else here. But IN MY OPINION, and this goes back to much earlier posts than the ones by me here today, I believe Arsenal benefited from having so much rest.
Also, as Buffon actually confirmed in an interview, I'm sure I can find it and quote him if this pointless debate goes on and on, "our players didn't do what Capello said."

In the "ridicolous" post according to Andy I tried to shed some light on that comment, even to shift some of the blame on Capello himself, in terms of him not being able to tell his players what to do properly. GOD!!

well we dont know, maby buffon just wanted to defend capello as not making him the reason why we lost. but if we read about cap comments like against bremen: lets be patient, then i dont know, something is wrong with capello approach to the match.

I didn't attack you, you idiot. I just stated the post was ridiculous and it is because we just got ran off the park by the better SIDE. I asked you a couple questions and you failed to answer them, and thats not my fault.

Andy you are an ILLITERATE.

You WISHED you read: "We did not get defeated because Arsenal were the better side" but I clearly wrote: "We did not lose due to Arsenal being the better side".

Because on paper, we are. And we're having an awesome season. And we can play better than they can, even though we didn't do it on the night. That was my entire point.

You're making an ass of yourself.

well, Enron, I'm listening.
I'm trying to straighten this whole thing out, and clear my comments, because they didn't translate into what Andy said they did, and they were written in good nature; to give hope to some of the doubters in here that we can still win on Wednesday.

This is exactly what you said:

We did NOT lose the first game due to Arsenal being a better side, that's just bullshit.
Sorry, however we did lose to Arsenal being a better side. Why? Because they were the better SIDE (Team, collective group of individuals, whatever) who worked together better than we did and ran us off the pitch. They are clearly the better SIDE than us, no matter what fucking names on the paper. Why are you saying we are the better on PAPER? Who the fuck doesn't know that? That's quite obvious and Arsenal beat us because they are clearly the better SIDE collectively.

If you meant something else with that comment, it's not my problem. I define a side to be a collective group of players who come together to win a football match in the best way possible...not just how a team looks on paper. Again, you're not making any sense at all. If you meant something else you shouldnt have written your sentence so poorly.

@ Andy

because I sincerely believe we are a better side (team, have better players, play better as a unit etc.) than Arsenal, I stand by all of my comments.

Saying juve are the better side on paper doesn't mean much really does it? In about three years time, all these young arsenal players will most likely on paper be better than another young team, who will then spank arsenal. Just because some journalist has not officially labelled Cesc fabregas better than Vieira it doesn't mean it's not true. Everyone in the world would take Fabregas over Vieira now.

Anyone looking at the first game would now conclude Arsenal are literally the better team as well as on paper. Price tags mean nothing.

We're capable of playing better than Arsenal at present, that's all I'm saying.
In about three years time, all those young arsenal players could most likely on paper be better than another team, as you said, but then again; they could all be sold because of a change of management, some of them could go with Wenger to another club, some of them could fall down the stairs and break their legs.
We can't predict the future.
IMO, at present, and this has something to do with what we've done so far this season before our dip in form (which unfortunately came at this time), Juve are better than Arsenal.

I'm hoping that I will be able to say "I told you so" after Wednesday, but I realize it's gonna be difficult now.

jem83 can we stop fabregas because nobody closed him down which resulted in the two goals
I'm angry with Capello for placing our team so high on the field.
As we've been discussing, it could also be that the players didn't respond well to what he intended to do.
The first leg was a disaster, basically :(
Our tactical (Capello's) and on the field (the players') mistakes made Arsenal look superior to us that night, THUS - making them the favourites next time around. That is our advantage. We can keep that clean sheet and score the goals we need, if we play the perfect game. Fingers crossed and Forza Juventus!
