Why all u guys are blaming Capello for this? as i remember, when juve got eliminated by deportivo 2 years ago under lippi, most of the forum member started blaming lippi...

the team is more than a coach and players, a bad game for juve doesnt mean that there is problem with either the coach or the players, it could be misunderstanding, psychology of some players, fitness...

Capello did some mistakes, but i think juve's problem is more of how to approach the game than of tactical issues.. U see, arsenal got in the game with confidence and determination, while juve were scattered between some players who were working hard ( like Cannavaro, and Zlatan who didnt do well but atleast he was trying) and some players who werent as determined ( the rest i guess)..

However, i think juve plays so much tactical game, without any kind of lusty action, the build up of their attack lacks creativity (one-twos, back heels...) which makes it very hard against well organized teams like arsenal..

i believe Capello should try more creative play at delle alpi, and the approach of the game should be quite different.

I saw Juve at the start of the season, was very impressed. Around that time however I remember watching you lose 3-0 to Milan and thinking to myself are juve that good or they just solid to the extent that mid-table italian teams can't break them down and lie down to them.

You never know, Juve could come out and turn it around on wednesday, all it would take is a couple of good crosses for Trezeguet. I just hope we don't sit back all scared. We can't let you have any sniff of a chance because you always seem to get the goals you need. Apart from Liverpool last year of course.

Lovely boy... do ya still remmber how we prevent ya from advancing to next round in 2003 with a super bench players team, Henry missing a penality ?

I still believe we can beat anyone... we just needs the right mentality and the right man on our bench....

3-1 then or something. Anyway, Milan, like Arsenal, had individuals to expose your limitations while teams like Lecce and Empoli are powerless to trouble you.
We let in 2 goals in the first half due to goalkeeping errors.
The second half we won 0-1. Shouldn't have lost that game.

and serfaraaz: Yep :toast:

remember that game. It was strange, because we were relying on Deportivo beating Leverkusen, and only then would a win over Juve have put us through. I sensed the players knew it wasn't gonna be our night.

It was a dreary sleepy game with arsenal having the better chances. If I remember Zaleyata(?) goal was your first shot or something. It was a joke you lot won that game, even though it didn't matter.

but he did change his tactics against bayern at dell alphi after we lost to bayern very convincingly at allianz arena
Not really, he started with a different tactic just to rush and make substitutions to make it his usual tactics. As for the approach, it remained the same.
