I'd have been happier if he played. So they won't have an excuse!

Who cares about a bunch of fans excuses? Let us just do our job and qulaify and I wouldn't care less

I'm more concerned about players with pace and movement, Luis Garcia and Baros. Liverpool are still as much of a threat as they were with Gerrard IMO.

I can't be completely confident as our performances overall this season haven't been good and when we meet a team with good dertermination, we struggle.

I agree with Holdon, the quick players will be the ones to cause us trouble on the night. Also I hope Capello is working on the defense against crosses and set pieces because we seem to be having a big problem against those sorties.

The quick players may pose the greatest threat but Liverpool are still considerably weaker without Gerrard. He's the one that often gets the quick players into good positions with his passing and he's a massive threat anywhere close to the box. Liverpool will be looking to hit us on the counter and Gerrard plays a pretty big part in their transition from defence to attack.

exactly. he is 'pool's most important player without doubt. and despite what anyone says, I can and do hold both Liverpool and Juve in my heart.

Na wa o! We coped okay without Neddy. What makes people think they can't cope without Gerrard?

we're screwed without him. he is our most influential player, and he tends to step up to the big games. now I don't think that Liverpool has much of a chance

Liverpool will not be weaker without Gerrard. I fail to see what he did in the 1st leg. If Xabi Alonso is anywhere near fitness his control of the ball in midfield could pose Juve problems though

guys, has it slipped yur mind that L´pool is playing this game without 12 players and possibly 6-7 usual starters? Without a doubt they did overrun us in the first half in the first game. I actually believer were on a terrible run ATM because our defending from set pieces has been blatant in the last 10 games or so. We severely lack height in the defensive area although Zlatan is very high. Against La Viola we conceded 2 goals from set pieces so we should be aware of that because L´pool is great in that area.

Sami hyypia is tall and has good aerial control in the box, Biscan is strong in the air. Also I fear Luis Garcia who has been outstanding in the Champions league this year.

Also we have to realize that Juve won Bayer Leverkusen a relatively slow team of their stantards and won 6-2 on aggregate results.

Now turning to their weaknesses before the GAME in Turin we all can see that their using their third choice goalie as well as Gerrard and two of their major summersignings are out, that is Cissé and Alsonso. Morientes is cup tied as well as Pellegrino and Kewell hasn´t been performing since his arrival at Anfield. Hamann is out injured as well as Neil Mellor who scored a vital goal against Olympiakos. so all of you can see that the team that play like they have wings is seriously broken-winged for the in Italy.

Despite all the Injuries of the Liverpool Club they are not a side we can take lightly. If I was Capello I would thrust the word CONCENTRATION in the head of our players because that has been what we have been lacking as of late. Buffon has to step and play a game similar to those he played in the early stages of this season cause he looked terribly uncomfortable against La Viola. Thuram has been shaky, Cannavaro solid as well as Rambo. Zebina is a gamble as well as Blasi and Emerson really disappointed me in the first leg. Nedved really has to step up!!!
As for Camoranesi I think Capello could do better in pushing him more to the middle because L´pool are well cover on the right flank. There they have Riijse and Traore both initially defenders. So for him I would give more of a free role cause that woud really stretch the L´pools defence. We all want our captain to play a great match because then we really have an entertaining side as well as if Zlatan is performing. Trezeguet is a question mark because I think the games ahead really decide weather Capello wants to hold him for another season or drop a player which has been plagued with injury for the last 2-3 years. We all know how great he is when he goes on a run, but has he the character to get to the highest level again? Well, time will tell........

Lastly I just want say that I love this team more than I can imagine and I can´t stand it if they lose, especially against an English teams cause most of my friends support teams from there. It would be a massive kick in many of my friends butts. So I pray and hope for a victory for our team which we all know is greatest on this planet!!

So come on and lets beat those English ****ers!!!!
ForZa Juve all the way!!!

No doubt that we will focus on this match, its our destiny, leave or stay !

IMO easy win and easy qualify. i do trust our squad and i do trust Juve personality on these (difficult)matches. i'm not afraid about the extra time or even penalties.

Forza Juve . Turin will be singing (juve-juve) till the morning
