seriously i totally agree with you zlatan has great natural ability, but when he is playing bad and starting to get frustrated there is no point leaving him on the field when others deserve a chance.

although people here are pissed with cap for defending zlatan again, i think in front of the media it is good for him to protect his player but in private im sure zlatan got told off for his stupiditty that could have cost juve the victory over bayern.

and also i think zlatan himself without anyone saying anything might just realise that he has to start putting in some decent perfomances this season or face been a one season wonder

I gotta say the more matches I watch, the more I get the feeling some of the people here are rather disconnected from reality. First of all it's the thing with treating Del Piero like he's so different from the whole team, discussing his performance everytime. Often he gets stick for being average, whereas many others get away with being average consistently (Nedved anyone?). To me he's just a team player, it's a bit unsettling to have all this focus on him.

Secondly, people's expectations are out of whack. Like tonight we played probably one of the best teams in Europe and we were lucky to win. Reading the forum I get the impression that people expect us to beat them convincingly, like that's the standard we're aiming for. But when I watch big matches like this, it's almost always even and decided by a small margin. People who think tonight's Bayern will be beaten by several goals I find a bit delusional. We played average tonight and we beat a strong team. Conversely, sometimes we beat small clubs playing like shit and the celebration is resounding.

The thing about Ibrahimovic is that most of the time he's fairly average (like tonight). He's very rarely absolute trash (like vs Milan) and he's very rarely very good. Although the spotlight is on him, he is to me quite consistent, far less magical than people have him being. For his style, he has made quite a few enemies around here and not everyone will wish him well, which is sorta understandable, it's the case with controversial players.

I was not gonna expect that if the game in Munich had been so close like the one yesterday. But after I saw the game in Munich, I and many of us hoped to see a juve side which showes bayern that the day in munich has been a bad day, and this was not the case yesterday. I mean I was so disapointed that the fvckin german comentator said, it is not juve who is strong, the bayern did not enough to win. now all the media in germany say: actionly bayern is better if we take both games.

media talk is cheap, in reality their is very little between the two teams it depends on who is on best form on the day, bayern are a good side but so are juve, and rite now juve sit top of group a, there is some cold facts for the german stat buffs

That makes no difference to me. We lost once, we won the other. We beat them twice last year. I don't really care who was the better team, because we got the result we needed. And the only way Bayern can beat us now is to go further in the tournament than we do.

I agree that the win is the most important thing. I will celebrate this win infront of my german friend just like they did. I had an advantige, I told them there is still a return game. and now I´ll tell them that we are group first.

well, that is right, but we have Viera and Emerson in midfield. we must controll the midfield much better. May be I am overreact because I am in germany and I am pissed off the bayern fans here.

Look at it this way, the Milan games last year. We had a draw in Delle Alpi and we won in San Siro. They literally owned us in Delle Alpi but couldn't score as for the game in San Siro it was somehow even and we manged to get a win. However in the end we won the title, they didn't.

I dont know if its just me, but against Milan and Munich I feel like Emerson holds on to the ball for far too long and tends to lose it unnecessarily.

The munich game was just tough, and we won fair and square. We might not have played our best, but we managed to get through our toughest obstacle, by hook or by crook. Thank god.
