Pretty poor performance, but always looked like Juve would do enough to win the game.
Thought Juve's midfield three were poor, particularly in the first half. The positioning and decision-making weren't good enough. They were managing to fail to be of any use either in either moving the ball to create space/chances or regaining the ball when Malmo cleared. That meant Juve were having to trying overly difficult sideways passes when in possession and when those difficult passes didn't come off, Malmo were able to counter-attack.
The whole set-up didn't seem right to me for playing a weak opponent.
The midfield was static, Evra wasn't high enough up or wide enough and Tevez spent too much time playing deep (if Allegri sees Tevez in that role - more trequartista than forward - there is a case to be made for playing him behind two strikers, when Juve are playing weak opposition).
It all added up to a very static half where Juve weren't able to take advantage of the good situations they did create because of not getting enough bodies forward in support of Llorente. As well as a lack of bodies forward, the movement of the players in the box was poor. Juve actually got in quite a few good crosses, but a lack of movement from anyone towards the front post meant that they were easy for Malmo to defend.
Wouldn't say that things really changed much, but Juve got the goal (from the only occasion I can recall a midfielder making a purposeful burst into the box) and everything became easier once the goal went in and there was no need to chase the game.
Tevez and Lichtsteiner were Juve's best players by some distance.

Don't know if Atletico losing this first game is such a good thing all in all. They'll probably need 6/6 against us now.
Depends on how confident you feel about Juve.
Atletico losing increases the chances of Juve winning the group and increases the chances of Juve finishing third in the group.
