Pirlo has already been replaced by Marchisio. We just signed a very experienced, and on-his-day an almost world class player in Khedira. We also have Sturaro who looks very very promising.

Alongside Dybala, we also have the option to bring Berardi back who seems capable of playing pretty much any position in attack with his excellent finishing, passing, and vision.

Buffon has 2-3 years in him imo. He's class like that.
:agree: all this pussiness about how 'we'll never have another shot'. Fuck this shit. A couple of years ago it wouldn't cross the most optimistic fan's mind that we'd be playing a CL Final and yet there we were.

I'm going for a walk.

I suggest everyone do the same or get out and do something.

You'll be thinking about this all night, get a walk out and you'll feel a bit better.
i was dropping my friend off home a bit after the match, driving on the way back i was slightly surprised to have past 2 Juve fans walking back, almost felt like stopping the car just to go hug them for comfort

I don't know man. We would have been up 2-1, and able to withdraw and force them to try to break us down with build-up play, something they weren't really capable of after the very opening of the match. It was their counters that killed us as we pressed to score.

I don't think 2-1 would have been a sure victory, but it would have made it a lot more difficult for them to score.

overall they were the better side in the 1st half, but the 2nd half was pretty even before the equaliser, then we took control of the match, then came the penalty situation, and also the counter that concluded to the winning goal started with a foul on pogba.

shame on uefalona, that was a disgrace.
True. I just see their attack as being able to come up with something from nothing though. We could've won this game though on another day, I have no doubt.

I was angry about it, but to dwell on it now would kill me. Just have to move on.

I'd rep but I need to spread.

The growth of this team in all aspects has been incredible to watch. And we should all feel so blessed and proud of this team that they went toe to toe with Barcelona tonight and with a little luck after equalizing might have won the game.

We're here to stay. Teams don't get to the CL final every year. But for the foreseeable future we're going to be 1 of those 5-6 teams that are get to minimum QFs every year, and are a threat to get to the final every single year. And that feels so damn good.

In other news. A Triple Crown just happened for the first time since 1978. American Pharaoh. :delpiero:

We must remember though, there is no shame in losing. The only shame is in letting one defeat make you defeated. And I think our CL campaign has signalled that we are back among the elite, in spite of losing.

That is a great asset to have. Look at Bayern - they lost in 2010 and 2012 before they could finally win in 2013. But they stuck around and became the team to beat in Europe. We have the same chance. In fact our paths are remarkably similar between their restructuring and where they are now.
exactly my thoughts. we should only consider this as a start.

Marchisio and Pogba bossed midfield. No matter how much I like the Maestro, I really doubt we'll miss him. With Khedira we'll even add so much more steel, while giving Marchisio the driving keys.

Of course i am gutted although i prepared myself mentally for a defeat, but man was I proud of the boys during that 2nd half, I also discovered that as a Juve fan i am never ready to believe that we will lose even if i said otherwise, ever since we beat Madrid i was preparing myself that we will we lose from Barca but once the game started all i could think of that this is our year, I am thankful for god and life that i was blessed with the gift of being a Juve fan, Forza Juve till the day I die.

In all fairness, even though we have reached the CL final we still seem to not be convinced of our greatness.bit it is like we need a goal to really get us fired up to get us started. We still need the game to reassure us that we can do it. Until we are like that we can only react, but never act.

I can't deny Messi's skill, and dislike Neymar. But there never has been, or never will be, another player that I hate more than Suarez.
