Wait, so there are no rules preventing teams from the same country facing each other once you get to the quarter-finals?

Getting to the QF is what I expected at the start of the competition. How much have we accumulated thus far roughly in prize money?

:agree: we could face Milan in the QFs (if they qualify)
Yep it has happened on two occasions in the last decade when only 2 teams from the same country/league has made it to the last 8.

Lyon-Bordeaux in the 2009-10 edition of the CL

Chelsea-Arsenal in 2003-04 CL season

Excluding TV and Matchday money ? Then we have made a total of €23.5m for reaching the last 8 purely in terms of prize money.

We made €17.6m in the Group Stages and for making it to the round of 16.

So add an extra €2m for the 2 wins against Celtic and another €3.9m for progressing to the last 8 and it accumulates to €23.5m in total.

Lavezzi has scored in the last four CL matches.
Likeable player.

Germany is taking that first spot from Spain in a few seasons. If Italian teams take the EL more seriously they will catch England eventually.
Nah, Barcelona and Real will keep dominating. While Atletico Madrid and co will dominate Europe League too.

There will always be a Spanish team in atleast Semi finals.

Milan is an Italian team, they know how to park the bus properly.
Which is exactly why Milan will progress.

Barca has a hard time getting through a deep compact defence. And that's what they'll face against Milan. Not to mention. Milan is a Italian team.

We all know how Italians defend.

Does that include tickets too?

Nope it doesnt.

This includes only prize money excluding the money we get from Television and tickets.
Oh no TV money too? Nice. If we make it to the semis we could get like 50m out of this season's CL if you include everything like tv, tickets and extra merchandise.

In England they always say that the CL is worth £40m minimum overall, which is about €45m. I think we must be well on course for over €50m by now.
