Ok i found this stat via google search.(From Big soccer forums http://www.bigsoccer.com/community/threads/serie-a-clubs-in-europe-2012-2013-r.1948096/ )

CL money received by serie A teams in 2011-12 CL season.

AC Milan = €39,864m - Reached QF (of which €23,564m from TV market pool)
Inter = €31,569m - Reached Rd 16 (of which €18,569m from TV market pool)
Napoli = €27,734m - Reached QF (of which €14,334m from TV market pool)
Udinese = €2.1m = Lost in CL Playoff

In total the Television market pool for Serie A amounts to approximately €56.5m.So Milan getting knocked out early will be beneficial for us in terms of TV money.(Since this season the TV money will be divided between only 2 Italian sides assuming the market pool for Serie A is the same this year)..

.......................

Cheer for Barca then ?

Loooool this involves a lot of money. What can i say.Go Barca then.
The TV market pool has to do with the finishing position in serie A, not with CL success. So, even if we were eliminated in the group stages and Milan won the CL this year, we'd have received more money from the TV market pool because we won serie A last year.

Less Italian teams = More revenue. It's same since the group stages. Now, those who care about the ''coefficient'' can start to worry.
= less league prestige in the longer run, less quality players in the league in the longer run.

at some point, we can become like celtic, if that is what going on... now before someone mentioning bayern, where were they after the 70s? it took them 30+ years to be this competitive in europe with the some help from the rest of their league; quite the same story with madrid and barca btw... madrid choked almost 40 years before 1998, barca was quite irrelevant throughout the history of modern football before 2008.

we can't afford that happening.

Look at this graphic

TV money is split into two ?(before CL begins and after CL resumes) (I mean look at that second box there,it shows Manu has made 13.3m for reaching the final whereas Chelsea made 10.2 for reaching the last 8)

By the way i'm not comparing the TV revenue between both clubs(Juve and Milan).i am just saying it would decrease our overall TV income if they progress further.

- - - Updated - - -

Here's another post from that thread i posted.

Total CL payout for 2012/13 = €910.3m
Total fixed payment for 2012/13 = €500.7m
Total TV market pool in 2012/13 = €409.6m
- For each club = X Factor is = € for TV market pool

For Playoff (2 games) = €2.1m + €0.2m for club that loses the playoff
+
For Group Stage = €8.6m (6 games) + €1m for win or €0.5m for draw + € for TV market pool
+
For Rd of 16 (2 games) = €3.5m + € for TV market pool
+
For QF (2 games) = €3.9m + € for TV market pool
+
For SF (2 games) = €4.9m + € for TV market Pool
+
For CL winner = €10.5m + € for TV market pool
For CL runner up = €6.5m + € for TV market pool

vs.

Total CL payout for 2011/12 = €754.1m
(Was the same for 2010/11)
Total fixed payment for 2011/12 = €413m
Total TV market pool in 2011/12 = €341.1m

For Playoff (2 games) = €2.1m
For Group Stage = €7.2m (6 games) + €0.8m for win or €0.4m for draw + € for TV market pool
+
For Rd of 16 (2 games) = €3m + € for TV market pool
+
For QF (2 games) = €3.3m + € for TV market pool
+
For SF (2 games) = €4.2m + € for TV market Pool
+
For CL winner = €9m + € for TV market pool
For CL runner up = €5.6m + € for TV market pool
So the overall TV payout in CL has increased from last year too.

Hmm, maybe.

I know that the TV market pool is split according to the number of clubs from a certain country and their finishing position in their league.

For example, look at Tottenham getting less than Arsenal, even though they reached the quarters and Arsenal reached the 1/8 finals. That's because Arsenal finished above Tottenham in EPL. But it looks that you're right and the performances in CL also count. Bayern finished above Schalke in the Bundesliga, but by reaching the semis, Schalke got additional money from the market pool and in the end both Bayern and Schalke shared 18m eur each.
Italy gets lots of money from the TV pool and considering there were only 2 Italian teams in CL, Juve and Milan will get a really nice amount this year. To sum up, yes, Milan going further in the competition might "rob" Juve of a million or two. You are right. The market poll depends mostly on the finishing position in the domestic league, but also on the CL performances.

Nope. It's not happening. There will be always quality players in the league. Preferably playing for us.

Would be quite tight for Juve getting into Pot 2 next season as things stand: http://www.uefa.com/memberassociations/uefarankings/club/index.html

20th just now, so need four teams ahead to not make the groups.

Liverpool, Arsenal and one of Inter and Milan almost certainly won't make it.

Just needs one more failure - Schalke probably the most likely one - for Juve to be in Pot 2.
On the other hand, Juve "only" needs to draw one match to overtake Manchester City. That is if PSG or Zenit don't overtake Juventus.

But surely Man City have the chance to get more points this season?

I mean, they can't really have spent all that money and still be out of Europe already, can they?

Assuming Barcelona get knocked out and Real Madrid start playing well again, I'd put the most likely winners like this:

1. Bayern
2. Dortmund
3. Madrid
4. Juventus

Though I could see us managing to beat Madrid somehow I think Bayern will win it all.

We have a big chance to make more CL money this year than next year since next season you're almost sure to have 3 Italian teams in Group stages so we'd be getting a lesser chunk of the TV money. If Milan dont go far in the tournament this season our earnings would be even more provided we make another step further to the semis(or even further) ourselves. All in all our CL earnings this year should be very good.

Dortmund at number 2? :howler: Come on! They are good, but nowhere near that good.

I think they are ahead of Madrid, they showed it in the group stage.

If you put Barcelona aside as I don't see them going through, I'd put Dortmund number 2.

Yes, but not at number 2, and ahead of Madrid. I'd say Dortmund are behind the likes of Bayern, Madrid, Barca, and even us.
They already have one win and one draw in the group stages, and as mentioned before by TrezJuve their teamwork is phenomenal. I'm assuming at this point that Barcelona won't make it through, although it is possible they do, so that's why I didn't include them. You make a list then :D

The knockout phase is a whole different ball game. I recall teams barely qualifying from their groups, and then going on to win tournaments.

Experience counts for a lot in the knockouts, and that is why teams like Barcelona, Bayern, and Madrid are still favorites, because they have progressed far in the CL over the past few seasons. They have the knowledge and experience.

I personally rate Dortmund as a dark horse, along with us. They are very organized, and dynamic going forward, but their defense is very suspect.
