Real, Dortmund, PSG, and Us through. I'm going to say Bayern, Schalke, Porto, and Milan (who are going to lose 3-1, but qualify anyway) will go through next week.

Potential Opponents and % of winning the tie:

Bayern 65% in favor of Bayern
Real Madrid 55% in favor of Madrid
Dortmund 50-50
Milan 55% in our favor
PSG 60% in our favor
Porto 65% in our favor
Schalke 70% in our favor

Schalke, Porto, or PSG would be the most favorable draw, with Schalke obviously being the preferred option. I'm sure we can handle Milan over two legs, and probably Dortmund as well (although I'd prefer to avoid them). Madrid are going to be difficult, and Bayern extremely challenging, so avoiding them is very much preferable.

I'd like Milan to face Madrid, and Bayern to encounter Dortmund, or any combination of those teams facing off against each other in the Quarters and Semis, leaving us with PSG, Schalke and Porto in our bracket :D

Here's an example of the television market pool. This is for the EPL in the 2010-11 Champions League season.

So more Italian teams in the further rounds(in this case Milan) means lesser TV money for us.

Zach must be heartbroken reading this

Barca who won the competition in 2010-11 season made €51m out of the CL whereas Man U who lost the final made much more than them infact.(€53.2m to be precise). And this is mainly due to the fact that La Liga had 2 teams in the semis whereas Manu were the only English representative.

So those cheering for Milan in Europe, you have to make a choice between more money for Juve or more co-efficient points for Serie A.(In my case i still want them to knock Barfa out but get fucked in the next round hopefully).

Less Italian teams = More revenue. It's same since the group stages. Now, those who care about the ''coefficient'' can start to worry.

[...]So add an extra €2m for the 2 wins against Celtic[...]
Are you sure about that? UEFA website says win and draw bonuses are awarded only for wins or draws in group stage.

Performance bonuses will also see €1m paid for a win and €500,000 for a draw in the group phase.

Btw, Juventus have leapfrogged Manchester City in club coefficient ranking. Next teams ahead of us are CSKA, Liverpool and Olympique Marseille with seven or eight points lead.

Oops.I checked it once again and it seems like you are right.Money for wins/draws are only earned in Group stages.Sorry for the confusion.

Excluding that €2m ,we have made €21.5m for reaching the last 8 so far then.(Since you get €3.9m for reaching the last 8 + €17.6m made from the Group stages).

Forza Milan next week and Fvck Barca.
I made three bets with a deluded Turkish fan.(I actally think they are more deluded than British fans.) These:

He thinks Galatasaray will go progress longer in CHL than Juventus.

That Barca will comeback against Milan being down 2-0.

Galatasaray will progress against Schalke.(This was just a guess, because i knew i would win with the other two bets, even though Schalke actually is leading with a away goal right now.)

Easy money right there.

Couldn't get any easier cash:D. Specially if Juve meets Gala (that's if they win in Germany).

    I'll explain using this graphic.

Before the CL season begins TV money is split between teams depending on how you've fared in the league season of the previous year. For example we'd be receiving more money than Milan since we won the Scudetto last year.

But once the CL seasons kicks off and depending on how many teams go into the further rounds you are once again awarded TV money and also you have take into account the television market pool for each country, for example for the EPL its roughly 85m euros(here's the source http://www.dailypost.co.uk/sport-ne...4m-from-champions-league-exit-55578-32934726/) for the annual CL season.I am not sure how much it is for Serie A(Anybody have info on that ?) but i think it involves good amount of money.

    Indeed. :D

Many Galatasaray fans and just Turkish fans in general, thinks Galatasaray will reach the finals. Because they brought Sneijder and Drogba. :lol2:
