Arsenal and the PL teams aren't popular because of goal.com.
of course :D but it's an example of us not getting the positive media attention we deserve that could spread our brand. Listening to the pundits on tv here they think Juventus is a nothing club. We can't just write them all off as saps and ignore them if we want to make money off their audience

To be fair last year's final gave us a lot of exposure. And pundits here in Belgium were very impressed with our game against Bayern. I genuinely believe that the next 5-6 years we will always be considered a true contender for the CL. It's a shame we go out so soon this year, but our club is back among the elite. IMO it's Barcelona, Real, Bayern and us. A level below that would be PSG and City.

City with this coach and approach is two levels below.
Yeah maybe. But I mean in terms of players and organization. I think we're a hell of a lot better than them and will be for quite some time. But it's not like we'll easily beat them every time (though we did this year).

It will be interesting what that gypsy will do as their new coach next season.Probably will ask for a zillion euros reinforcements but anyway.

They will do far worse than they did this year. I predict a 4th maybe even 5th place finish in the EPL. If you look at Bayern they have grown significantly weaker during Pep's reign.

I'm not sure that Haynkes' Bayern and this City are comparable. Bayern from 2012 was a team at it's peak and a perfectly balanced machine, it played fast, strong and direct football and it was almost impossible to get better. Guardiola has a completely different approach to football and quick and direct football is not his thing.

On the other hand Man City has no real other strategy than splashing crazy money for great players. Pellegrini is struggling with the English tactical unawareness and I feel Guardiola will only make them better and they will be a crazy team for 3-4 seasons. I have no doubts that they will win EPL for at least 2 times during his period there. I'm not a fan of Guardiola, but this guy implements his tactical ideas no matter what and this will be very beneficial for City.

Slowly the hurt is fading, but its almost over, time to move on. Ive noticed that the hurt is being replaced with intense love for this team. Man love this team, love the lads, and really cant wait for the torino game. I want to see more fantastic football.

Like another Bayern fan in here said, i also feel sorry for you guys somehow.. You had the game totally under control until the 65-70 min, there from it seemed like Bayern did put on a massive preassure towards you. This also shows that Guardiola is an idiot, because this is 3 years in a row that we repeat the same mistake in big CHL matches. A good coach would never let this happen again, and again, and again. Rookie mistakes from him like allways in this kind of matches.

Allegri had the upper hand in yesterdays game, thats for sure. It wasnt because of Pep that Bayern came back, but because of the "german mentalitty", and also some luck like i mentioned. Juve also wasted a lot of big chances, if Cuadrado made it to 3-0 it was game over.

Its a shame that such giant clubs like Bayern Munich and Juve had to run into each other now, but i know you guys will come back strong next year. You have a great team. I hope Bayern will draw City so we can crush them, and eliminate the last english club in CHL this year. If we get Barcelona and play like this we will get crushed big time, unless our individual players have the game of theyre life.

Like the other BM fan i would also like to stick around sometime if its allowed.
stick around, a valuable and fair contributor is always welcome.
and you can make Juve your second team.

Besides a bunch of semi-literate Nigerians and other assorted braindead trolls that frequent that place, no serious football fans take that steaming pile of bull$#@! website seriously. It is the biggest joke in the world when it comes to football articles and "analysis" and everyone knows it. $#@! pandering to those clowns. The one way to create good press is to win the CL and building strong teams/dynasties. Not sucking up to mental midgets like Kris Voakes and Carlo Garbagenese.
Goal has a site for each country man. Its not just goal international. Serious football fans or not, what matters is that they are fans and they do make money for their clubs. My point also applies beyond just goal.com. Think espn, sky, bleacherreport, the sun or really any massively popular site.

With the right olayers pep will dominate epl, ffs have you seen any of this season epl big matches? They are playing amateur football with amateur mistakes right and left, 99% epl teams will heavily struggle against ultra possession football pep implemented both tactically and mentally.

Yep. Reading the comments (and match reports) on actual decent and well respected sites like The Guardian (and even ESPN) fills me with pride. People consider us an elite team in Europe again, and plenty of people are full of praise about our players and the way we play. Winning and performing like heroes in these big games is how we will build our brand up again. Not hoping for some stupid puff-pieces from goal.com.

Interesting how our official Facebook page went from just above 21 million likes before the game to 21.8 millions after the game.
It would appear the world audience did enjoy our performance.

I think it's the zacheryah sindrome, the thing that prefer grinta above technical quality, at some point the grinta couldn't overcome the opponents technical superiority that imposed the game to us
For me it seems like the order of importance at Juve goes like this.

1) Grinta
2) Tactical intelligence
3) Technical ability

And im fine with that. Mentality first.
