got schooled by a superior team, still we could have seriously rattled their cage if we had scored. Vidal's absence proved too costly and padoin was a joke on the right. I dont want to say i am proud that we have made it this far because i am really disappointed with our performance over these 2 games.

You cant play a 3-5-2 without having wingers for it. You cant play 3-5-2 and use Lw's and Rw's as your strikers. You just cant. And i also agree with some of you that a WC striker wont solve our problems. A WC striker, a Kolarov and a Lahm however, would make us a CL material.....

Thanks for those two great games Juventus, some here are quite disappointed with the result tonight and its ofc understandable. First 20 mins Juventus pushed bayern really hard back, that was some good effort. But as an outsider juventus need a class striker, no offense to Mirko Vučinić, but he cant do it alone. Juventus came many times in dangerous area in front of neuer, but you really missed that striker with good touch, timing and accuracy. Its your first CL saison for some time and you reached the quarter finals, do you know that dortmund failed 2011 in CL group stages? although they already got a great team and coach, so be patient with conte, I think he is a great young coach. This competition is really hard, you cant expect conte to come in his first year and win it or reach the finals, you forget that big real madrid needed 5-6 years to reach the semifinals? In that case respect to Juventus and supporter, great fans (although some members talked trash about bayern, but never mind, its emotion and conventional) great new stadium, I'm sure you will come stronger next year and give some tough games for all big clubs in europe (hope with a new class striker next to Mirko Vučinić :hellyes:)

juventus will come back much stronger! peace and good game!

I really believe that if we had scored in the first 20 minutes, this could have turned out into one of the greatest matches in juve history. It was really crucial to score at least one in the first half, at the interval everything was lost, so the intensity dropped as well.

Also lol @ that Aussie guy with the Storari avi who was saying that 2-0 was mpre realistic than 4-1. Bayern were always going to socre, it was just up to us to use our chances in front of the goal, which again we didn't.

We need a world class striker.

Saw that you guys lost. Tough luck. But remember it's a pretty good showing for a team with a lot of inexperience in the CL. 1 or 2 more pieces to add some tactical versatility and I could see Juventus challenging for top honors.

Here's hoping a team other than Real or Barce win.

I can't see it, tbh. Yes, what you say is correct, but I don't see Juve adding those missing pieces and I can easily imagine the gap between Juve (serie A) and the big ones in Europe becoming bigger and bigger. I was hopeful until some time back, but now I think that the financial situation of the Italian teams is really bad and it will result with even bigger lack of quality.

Now that the anger has subsided I have to say that this was a good demonstration of our current abilities. Also great to see respect between the sides, they respected us and we respected them. They were just better.
I really hope we will apply the Bayern model for the future, diversifying our revenues and becoming profitable. Seems like we have already started.

Next time we will give them more of a match.

Only one Serie A team needs a filthy rich Arab investor. That would force the other teams to become more competitive. Happened in England, could also happen in Italy.
