I do not think that refs are 'bought,' but I do think there is a lot of doggy dealing in terms of which country hosts tournaments and draws by UEFA/FIFA.

So how do they do it?
Two warm balls (Barca and Real) and the super rich football superstars who draw the balls are told not to pair the warm balls together? If they bother to make this blatant crime, why stop at the two warm balls? Why don't they go a step further by making sure that Barca and Real get an easier draw? Last year Real got Bayern in the quarters and Barca got Juve. Leicester, Dortmund and Monaco were in the quarters too. Since they had the two warm balls, it wouldn't have been a problem to add two cold ones.

They have different ex footballer involved with the draw though from various different clubs. They have had like Totti, Roberto Carlos, Sheva, Figo, Zanetti, Maldini in recent years.

How much uefa pays them to stay quiet about it? Cause these ex players who are made ambassadors of final like Sheva this year with Ukraine hosting the final have to all be part of the fix. They are picking the balls during the draw. And every season a new different ex player is involved with the draw so this cycle just gets bigger and bigger. Eventually someone with a big mouth will reveal it. Seems rather risky imo.

I dont buy it. If they fix it why the uefa secretary just doesnt draw it on his own. They call ex legends to the draw to pick the balls like Sheva, Maldini, Figo, Ian Rush. These players must all be part of the act and never reveal it. I feel like for some it might be against dignity. Also they are fixing draws for teams they have no connection like say Totti or Ian Rush. Why would ex pool player want to make easy draw for Man utd team? He is Liverpool through and through.

Id understand if the uefa secretary and assistant draw the balls on his own. But every season they call different ex player and tell him to pick warm and cold balls? Like i said eventually they will end up calling some expro turned alcoholic who will reveal it all to daily tuttosport for 2000 euros. Dont buy it.

The best way to pick the balls is to literally do it really fast without moving your hand around too much to get a feel for the balls

When I see someone with their hand in the bowl constantly moving the balls around and feeling lots of them it does seem fishy

I'm surprised Uefa don't coach them on how to pick the ball out super fast to avoid controversy

Well often Barca, Bayern, Real, Juve win their groups so there is no possible way they draw each other first knockout rounds.

Barca and Real cant draw each other before qf for country protection rules anyway. Mou makes it sound like why arent Real and Barca drawns together BEFORE quarters.

Largely ridiculous comment from ex Real manager. And like i said Bayern-Juve was only two years ago.

Anyways, I.felt strongly about this during Platini's reign, when people were guessing the pairings at a very good rate, draws under Ceferin were much more random
