Laporta on the current scandal involving Barcelona

"The news draws attention and it is no coincidence that it comes out now. On the part of Barcelona, any captious, tendentious interpretation that insinuates things that are not will receive the proportional and adequate response from the club. We reserve all the actions that are necessary to defend honor and the interests of Barcelona"

This has nothing to do with us but its show you how a president should defend his club.

Our management should learn...

The major question is will they be relegated or points penalty? I am sure La Liga chief is not as stupid as Italian ones.

no matter the exact number of cancelations, dazn and sky basically lost their rights to broadcast serie a. it might be included in the amazon prime membership for italy.

i wonder how it would have ended without juventini canceling their contracts. nice to show these bums that they can't shit on juve without consequences

It basically says that ADZN will not renew the contract for transmition of Serie A games (2024) for the ammount asked (940M), Sky its not interested for that amount... they said that Juventus case influence the decision and that Amazon Prime its interested in buying the rigths.

The second twett says that the Senate approves the cancellation of the extension for the TV rights contracts with Sky and DAZN on Serie A: the excerpt of the rule passes with 158 votes in favor

Weren't the league favouring towards not giving exclusive rights anyways? Guess it was kinda all for nothing

La liga prez is more worried about Juve than Real or barca.
thats because the lega prez knows that if he relegates barca, la liga becomes the level of the scottish league and becomes a 1 horse race, nobody will give 2 shits about Elche v Cadiz. Italy meanwhile are too dumb to realise this although you could argue there are more 'marketable' clubs than those outside of the big 2 in Spain.

For me prove that the unsubscriptions are working. That doesn’t mean that effectively 650k people cancelled their subscription, the system might’ve been fragile already and maybe just 100k was enough to change everything.

If we look to the timing basically a month has passed, we’ve seen massive discounts of DAZN, a new campaign against piracy and all the news that DAZN doesn’t want to continue with the Serie A.

Obviously this will have consequences for the club aswel, but for now I’m happy that it seems (for me at least) that the movement that was created after the verdict caused massive problems. Also Gravina’s words kinda proves that they’re shitting their pants

Almost forgot but Lotito wanted to automatically extend the current tv deal with two years. Basically like a option players have in their contracts. After years of following those tv negotiations, never seen a comparable situation like this before
