Where exactly did he say that they will be sacked?
Fortunately that wasn't said anywhere, but the "close to the team and the coach" comment (that he repeated when he was asked about the giant banner pro Moggi and Triade), Bettega's tears make most of us fear the worst.

I was thinking: if the family was to work for Juve again, they would need anyway some managers in the triade's place. Football has changed a lot from when Umberto and Gianni Agnelli let Boniperti work on it.
It's again a problem of "knowing people" and "knowing how it works". Now, what would change with another management? They would need to do exactly what Moggi is accused of having done (and what every manager does, that's why everyone of them is keeping their mouth closed on the case) with those phone calls. Plus it's not like our reputation of being thieves and doped would go away with Moggi: we were considered so before him and will remain so in the eyes of people.
So what would be the point of making them go? We'd "admit" of being guilty, that's all.
And not supporting them now would be very unclassy from the family, that never gave them a € to work on in these years and that just a month ago were "behind the triade that is doing an impressive job".
One last thing: Bettega wasn't the only one moved today. A journalist asked Moggi "Just one question, direttore. Were you happy about the banners and the chants?" and Moggi whispered "Yes".
They wanted to kill them, they are succeding.
