This is pretty cool. The Turbo Veloster can be purchased with matte grey paint now. More cars need to offer that option. I love the look.

Filled up my little 106 Roland Garros next to an AMG Black this morning :D

The owner of the Merc walked like he was constipated though. Probably because he gets fucked by the insurance company paying for that beauty ;)

Then he fired it up. That sound, drool...

If I had any pants I'd put them on to hide my hard-on

I would almost considering giving up the "Gol di Muntari" experience to own that car :p

what yall(those have driven it) think of the m6
you wanna make a statement, nothing like the Carrera (4)S w/ PDK to help you on your endeavor :)

I test drove the 6 series about 3 years ago - previous 2010 gen - nice car obviously and the m6 would add more plush and hp to it too but sort of lacks character ... something you don't get by ramming a powerful engine into a heavy, clunky shassis.
The new M6 comes with a significantly more power than the Carrera S but it is also much heavier, so as a result the acceleration is the same if not better in the carrera S w/ PDK transmission, on top of the Porsche being a much nimbler, better handling car (I mean let's face it, Porsche wrote and rewrote the book on superior car handling).

Of course tastes differ but all in all, I wouldn't throw that pretty penny for the M6 before testdriving at least 4-5 other alternatives and would leave the Porsche for last 'cause thats the only way you'd bother testing the others :D

One other thing - iirc, there was one curious shortcoming - imo at least - with the previous gen m6: it had really poor gas mileage resulting in a very short range before you have to refill. If you are spending north of 100K for a car then gasprices obviously arent gonna be a concern but I doubt you'd wanna a rent a parking space at the local gas station either :). With the new gen of M6 being even more powerful and just as heavy, I doubt they have fixed that issue unless they've practically doubled the gas tank capacity. Anyways, something to keep in mind ;)

:agree: with the last part, my main concern with the m6 was the roughness of the ride overall and i am not big fan of the smg. As for porsche i just like BMW service & warranty better.

bmw indeed has some nice warranty coverage on their vehicles but that's what negotiations are for, after all :) ... anyone who goes into a marquee dealership and doesn't negotiate to sell them a car before buying one from them doesn't belong in a marquee dealership in the first place :D

joking aside, Porsche has the best customer loyalty of all brands, iirc, and has reliability and dependability records rivaling those of the japanese automakers, something BMW and MB and Audi/WV can only dream of ... I also wouldn't get a BMW without the warranties they are offering, and that's probably why they have them in the first place.
Obviously it's up to you, in the end of the day but I suggest you do your best in negotiating a BMW-level warranty for your new Porsche before settling for a BMW :)
