If Chelsea sign Teixeira, Oscar could be available.

I think Man U could offload Mata as well.

Two AM's within our reach.

But personally I think we should focus on Oscar.

Isco, Gündogan, Götze etc are all headed to the PL.
I'm not too convinced on Oscar anymore. How's he playing lately? Not as good. I don't us to make another mistake like we did with Hernanes.

Fun fact; some of my friends from Brazil and I always joke about a "curse" that any former São Paulo player will always turn out to be a pussy/flop. We say if you have "roots" in São Paulo FC you're already doomed and disappointment is expected. :scared: Kaká was the exception... for a while anyway.

If Mata was a possibility, then I don't know why we should look at Oscar. It's true Oscar is more hardworking and all rounded but Mata is definitely better offensively in my book, more decisive and magic is what you expect from an AM.

Mata's last decent season was 2 years ago, his last "offensively better" was 3 seasons ago. He is so lazy Mourinho sold his sorry ass, and he is average at united aswel.
Oscar is 3 years younger, despite slipping down with the rest of the team in the EPL this year, he has had only good seasons, and he is quite good in the CL this season despite a failing chelsea.

Mata doesnt suit juventus. He should go back to spain.

Mata is a lazy fuck. No passion whatsoever, he's got no blood in those veins of his. I deeply hate players like that.

Truth is I wouldn't want neither of them tbh.

How much are we talking about here? neither would go for less than 25 to 30M. Who else in that price range (add another 5-8M maybe) could be persuaded to come? Isco? Calhanoglu?

I saw some matches of Utd. this season, but Mata isn't te worldclass player some saying. He is too inconsistent, his matches are a four or a nine. He hasn't the work-ethic of for example Oscar and do maximal 3-5 really impressive things in a match. Juan Mata is a good player but he doesn't defend and that is really important for our tactics. I like him but i will not pay more than 15-20 million, and 20 is the maximum.

I think we need a hardworking attacking midfielder. With Dybala, Pogba, Marchisio and even Morata (!) we have enough creativity to play our style of football. If we play like Barcelona or Bayern Munchen we need more creative players, but I see Juve more as a team like Atletico Madrid, Dortmund (if we talks about tactics etc.)

Hardworking attacking midfielders who are in our reach:
- Saponara
- Alex Texeira
- Di Maria, but looks unreachable atm
- Oscar
- Banega (?)

talents: Praet, Oliver Torres

And than is the question: will these players better than Pereyra as AM, if yes are the worth that amount of money?
I think only Texeira and Di Maria will be a big upgrade, Saponara will be good too if you can get him for low fee max 15 million.

Isco is a pipe dream

Calhanoglu will cost a lot plus he's a glorified free kick specialist more than anything.

I agree with Crimson about Mata though. He's indeed a lazy fuck but the fact that Juventus midfield is built around runners/hard working players might help compensate this and maybe get the best out of him too.

At the end of the day beggars can't be choosers. There are several rich teams above us and if an opportunity like Oscar arises, I'll take it.He's admired by Allegri as well so there's that too.

Saponara is not Juventus starter material.

:agree: Beggars can't be choosers indeed. Between the two I'd easily go for Oscar though.

What is Götze doing these days? Getting much playing time?
I've a feeling Ancelotti will revive his Football.

Mata is 10 times the player Oscar is.
Lol offcourse not.

Mata is an utterly lazy cunt. And he has not been anywere near good since he left chelsea. Oscar fits into the juventus mentality, and has been better the past 3 years. Despire crappy chelsea, he was still doing well in the CL for them.

Oscar would do well here. Not worldclass, but he'd be good. Mata is a lazy slob that should fuck off to spain.

Each player has to contribute. Look at Dybala and Morata, who Allegri keeps hammering on to pull their work. Dybala quickly adapted to the requirement. Pogba gets a telling off if he starts to fuck about but doesnt do his work.

We cant realistically get anyone above Oscar (if its even possible) and Banega. We indeed shouldnt be choosers, we should take either one when the opportinity is there :agree:

No, no, no ... this are net wages. You underestimate the wages in the Premier League, even Shaqiri earns 6.5 million a year at Stoke and Rooney is above the 15 million, De Gea around 12 million. It's ridicioulus. So Mata is only possible if he cut half his wages.

Banega is a starter for Milan, Inter , Napoli etc

But he's a sub material for Juventus. He wouldn't start in our midfield.

You'll be highly disappointed if you expect him to be a difference maker.

Oscar is a different story though.

You're uninformed.

Wages in England are ALWAYS reported in gross.

In Spain and Italy, it's reported in NET.

Rooney's salary-£300K a week GROSS = €10.5m NET
