it's Udinese revenge. He (or his parents) refused a move to Atletico Madrid which were willing to pay lot of money to Udinese to get him and loan him for a year or two.
But as he was 17yrs him or his parents (again) wanted him to finish high school in Italy and then follow his football career. Udinese didn't take it that well and from starter position he was benched for Kharnezis and then given on loan to minor clubs.

Not very reliable.

I even posted this same rumour during the summer and they were the only ones claiming that we had a deal with Sassuolo to get Vrsaljko next summer while other sources like Sky dint go that far.Only claimed we're interested and nothing beyond that.

Still this deal maybe likely considering our relationship with Sassuolo.
