ya man. He's making a strong claim for a spot in the NT though. With performances like today and against Iran. I thought Noor was dissapointing today. He was a shadow of the Noor we know in Ittihad, and i think if he wants to prove his point in the NT he should work harder and play better.

Indeed. He's the most talented player of the Gulf.
I wouldn't go that far. If by the gulf you're including Iraq. Then Nashat is definitely the more talented player, even though he's been underperforming lately. Yasser El Qahtani is also a better player and so is Muhammed Noor.

Nashat Akram and Yasser El Qahtani are maybe better players but in terms of talent Matar is surpassing them both.

Errr, and by the Gulf I wasn't including Iraq and of course Iran :D

So who's the most talented player in Asia. Or who's the best player in Asia?

And can players from UAE play in Europe or they have some laws that forbid them to play outside the country? (I think the Saudis had such law. I know i heard that during the 1994 world cup :D)

You guys are a bunch of chokers anyway :D

Always had the talent, always had the players. But never missed the chance to choke. When was the last time you guys reached an Asian Cup final? Certainly not in my lifetime :p

But seriously. With players like Nekounam, Shujai and Madanchi you should be doing better. Decent batch of players you got there.

Ya man most Arab countries have laws forbidding their players from going abroad. They're more loose nowadays, but they can screw you in more ways than one if you leave a club against its will.

There was a time in Libya when commentators were forbidden to say players names for gods sake. We also had a 3 year period where our league\ national team was stopped, because Geddaffi thought it was against his idea's of "equality" for 22 players to be playing and thousands just watching. He's a staunch supporter of Socialism if you didnt know.

Pretty Fucked up, ey? :D

As for the best Asian player. Its definitely Park and Nakamura, those two are a class above other Asian players. Then comes Muhammed Noor, Yasser El Qahtani and Javad Nekounam

Most talented? For me its Nashat Akram the Iraqi player.

Hussein Abdel Ghani. :p
He was granted special permission. But honestly man, players like Noor, Malik Muath and El Qahtani should be in Europe, it will further develop their game and they are good enough to be playing in France, Holland etc.

It's definitely Park Ji-Sung. After him I'd say either Nekounam or Nakamura.

Yes you're right. I don't think there's been a more talented player in Asia than Karimi. But something is always going wrong with our NT. If we continue this way we won't even qualify for the World Cup.

I don't know these players, but i think that some of them must be good enough to play even in the best three leagues in Europe.
I mean, the Arabs are talented for football. They have that pure talent that can be seen for example on futsal matches. (dribbling, technique etc).

There is just no fucking way that they don't have players who can be stars of the best teams in Europe one day. If smaller and much more poor countries like Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovakia, Bosnia or Belarus can give players like Pandev, Vucinic, Hamsik, Skrtel, Salihamidzic or Hleb, who play in the best leagues, then i don't see why the Arabs from the Gulf can't do it.

But they must start sending these players to Europe when they're young. The Europeans i named above all left their countries when they were 16,17,18 years old. They would have never been this good if they stayed in their leagues until they were 25,26 or 27.

Iranians are not Arab. Arabs suck at futsal.

This is an excellent point you're raising and one that i've been saying for ages. It's important that they get nurtured and developed in top football academies like France, Spain, Italy etc. You see players like Benzema, Zidane, Nasri and Ben Arfa for France that are of Arab origin and are extremely talented players, but these players have been in France ever since they were 13-15, sometimes younger. Then you also have Affellay and Bakkal for Holland, Fellaini for Belgium and the list goes on and on.

Arabs certainly don't lack talent. But its our fucked up countries that are screwing us over. That being said, i have to point out, that if your looking for talent in the Arab world then North Africa is where to look. I do not see that much talent in the gulf, but in North Africa its a different story. Libya, Egypt, Tunisia and especially Morocco and Algeria have talent in abundance. But it isn't nurtured enough, facilites are not good enough, and talent is wasted. Believe me if nurtured right, the Algerians, Moroccans and Egyptians of this world can produce more Zidane's, Benzema's and Ben Arfa's.

But really Hoori. You walk around in the streets of Morocco, Algeria and North African countries in general. You'd be shocked by the talent the kids there have. Zidane, Benzema etc are not a co-incidence.

I don't think so. Maybe their national futsal teams suck, but i know that Arabs have the technique to play football on small pitches where ultimate technique is required.
just like the slavic people
