That's because we all know that Spurs will bottle it at some point, like they always do.
exactly.

This Chelsea is not strong. Its better than the rest yes but they are nowhere near a heavy weight team. Their 2 of their 3 CBs are terrible. Wingbacks are meh but work hard. Wingers are very good and Costa too but he looks burnt out and they have no bench in any position. This system is protecting this team but they would have no chance against any semi decent CL team

Not going to lie when he said that quote it made me worry for Chelsea.

You can't have that mentality if you want to be the best team he should be saying "we should have done better"

It will be very interesting to see how he does in CL next season

Not to mention it doesn't help the club. It's partly because of talk like that Vidal left to Bayern to win the CL. Saying to your squad that they are "outsiders" on the biggest stage doesn't get WC players to commit.

We definitely made Vidal leave, but because he has been a drunkard, not because of Conte's/the clubs attitude or approach.

That Chelsea finish was an anomaly caused by the Mourinho car crash, Chelsea were a top 3-4 side with the squad Mourinho had. Then Chelsea added Kanté, Batshuayi, David Luiz and Marco Alonso. That's a top 2-3 squad, so being first is a good achievement but not the start of a football miracle. It's not Leicester winning the Premier League, not half of that.

His first season with Juve was more impressive, although credit goes to the recruitment as well. We had a top 3-4 squad and finished 7th twice, that's not an accident. Recruitment that summer was Pirlo, Vidal, Lichtsteiner, Pepe, Vucinic, Giaccherini, Caceres and Padoin. Oh, and Elia... Out went a bunch of weak bitches, in came mostly strong characters. It was a great combination at the right time, and obviously Conte is very good at getting reactions from players.

Remember where we came from, 7th twice or 10th once....which is worse?
