In that stupid logic, so was Allegri ending up 2nd in the group to Man Shitty, drawing with Borussia Mochengladbach at home, losing to Sevilla and squandering a clear advantage over Bayern in CL.

THAT Bayern were several levels above THAT Juve.

And Humiliating? Please.
This is exactly the type of response from every Conte fundamentalist on this board. Bringing up Allegri into every discussion :lol2:

At least Allegri got us to qualify from the groups, managed to get us to the final last year. Unlike Conte's Juve Allegri's one played an even game against Bayern. The guy severely underestimated our chances and set the wrong mentality for the CL encounters.

that Benfica home game definitely is his biggest failure along with not passing the group vs galata. funny thing is, if the galata game wasnt postponed that night im sure we would have progressed and no one would say stuff like hes a failure in Europe. still, should have done better vs galata at home and danes away...

At least Allegri ended up 2nd, while this guy got us eliminated in far worse group and we played an even game against Bayern, which was impossible according to Conte. The guy severely underestimated our chances and set the wrong mentality.
I only mentioned Allegri because I know the losses he had are not humiliating nor disgraceful. Just like Conte's. Also, my original reply was to someone who brought up Max in reply to that Conte video. I personally love both men because I simply love Juve.

You need to try to understand this again... THAT Bayern was levels above THAT Juve. Put Allegri there and he'll do exactly the same as Conte. You cannot compare Juve vs. Bayern in 2013 with Juve vs. Bayern in 2016.

i can't blame only conte for the galata away game. that pitch was unplayable, and according to reports, the turkish even cleaned the pitch the way its condition strongly favored galata. you can't play football in a deep mud. for me, those bayern ties were the lowest points of conte's career as a juve coach. just like capello against arsenal and liverpool, he had absolutely no idea what to do, and he didn't even bother trying.

allegri isn't perfect either, but last year he had atleti, and a revamped team during this seasons group stages. if evra would have cleared the ball in the 999th minute in münich... fuck that match.

If that was the case Italy would have never outplayed Germany the summer before, since most of the both teams players were pillars of their NTs.

Yeah... No.

Allegri was handed the same team that massively underachieved the previous year in the CL and he brought it to the final. I don't think it would be exactly the same.

If buffon makes the pedestrian block and the ref calls the offside on that second goal... All of this is a bunch of nonsense
also if Vucinic and Gio were fit to start and Asa was in form. Quag-Matri did absolutely nothing that game except for standing around

Assuming there's nothing wrong with that childish logic, then you're suggesting that even Prandelli is better than Conte.
childish logic > no logic

Both teams had significant number of players that met summer before so most people thaught it would be an even game.

As far as the international tournaments are concerned, he's better. Let's see what Conte does this summer.

Hmmm... So, if international tournaments are different from champions league football, why are you comparing Italy vs. Germany to Juve vs. Bayern?

Also, another reminder that Conte's 2016 Italy squad are much inferior to Prandelli's 2012.

I am saying this?

I think he's better for knock-out games, cup competitions.

I agree

That team trashed Barça 7-0 agregate, there was no comparaison at all, they were levels ahead of us, it wasn't funny.

come on @X, we were outplayed the way i've never seen it, and i've been watching juve games since the mid-'90s.
Del neri/zacch juve were outplayed by the likes of chievo, we lost to one of the best teams in the decade, no shame in that. I'm just not into what ifs.

Ofc it wasn't funny. It was humiliating to witness. The entire team pussied out and coach seemed incapable to alter his approach for the return leg, when we saw rerun.

He's emotional, close to his players, he jumps like a madman and celebrates every goal, the guy runs more miles on the sidelines than Rooney for instance, but how does he cope with defeats? I feel that someone that tense, and always on a verge of emotional outbursts will have difficulty processing defeats and that will eventually reflect on players. One of the things that made us great in 2011/12 is exactly why we looked terrible in Europe after two abysmal encounters vs Bayern. imho
