On the counter, numbers forward are again the key factor creating space to run into and increasing options for a pass from midfield.

yes because the teams get accustomed the crosses and that opens up the play in the middle of the field

Would be interesting to see the assist stats of the wingers. Regardless, its really those numbers forward. The more options forward the higher likelihood of netting a goals. I hope that doesn't make us prone to conceding on counter attacks.
