What would you say would be an acceptable league finish this season with those things in mind?
It really depends on who we acquire. Should we manage to get Aguero, Vidal, and Bastos, we should finish top 3 comfortably, possibly even push for the title (seeing as we have no European commitments).

More Polis, Mottas, and Martinezes and we are set for another mid-table finish!

If Aguero, Vidal and Bastos come without selling Melo, and we play 433, I'd say 2nd place.
Having that squad would make me :tuttosport:

But seriously, with that squad plus a RB solid backup and maybe a CB to replace Bonucci, it's realistic to think that we could challenge for CL places (minus some junk players). Especially if Conte re-instills the Juve spirit although it remains to be seen if he will crack under pressure of actually being coach (not just a player) when something goes wrong. (Think 10/11 Parma game and onwards). No doubt we were the best against the big clubs last season but we need to drastically improve against the smaller teams. If we do really well against the smaller teams scudetto may even be on the cards :tuttosport:

But I'm probably just being too optimistic

you've never even seen poli play, he is a better player than what you give him credit for. I find it ironic you hate on rossi, but you want bastos, how is bastos going to improve our team more so than rossi? :howler:
