no, this team proved it can score with little to no creativity last season. and this season we added more talent that can create chances. 3 games doesn't mean anything.
our defense has sucked for past 5 years now. we let in goals way too easy becaue our defenders (Every single one of them in past 5 years) have terrible concnetration.

I just can't believe that defender is Chiellini this season. Its a shame we can't get our whole back four on form together. They all seem to have massive ups and downs.
Even if we lose to Milan we aren't yet in crisis. Its when we consistently lose and draw to provincial sides which tells us we're in crisis. Like Cronios said, the best thing about this season as opposed to previous seasons is that there is an attacking plan in place and we also know how to keep possession. If our defense weren't so shaky we would have been dominating that second half. If we stick to our plan of attack we will definitely finish higher than 7th its just a shame there are only three spots for CL. Its so imperative that we play in Europe next season.

I believe Conte made a mistake with his formation yesterday.
- I wouldn't try a new formation to an away game against tough Catania. If anything, it should be tried home with a weaker opponent.
- We can't play with 1 striker when we have Del Piero, Quag available. The two of them can make differences. And you cant expect them to change the game result in the last 10min.
- Note: Conte should pay more attention to small details like Marchi's yellow card in the first half. He was this close to a 2nd yellow. IMO, he should have replaced Marchi for Del Piero/Quag and put Vidal next to Pirlo.

All in all i think Conte has done a good job, he's got the team playing some actual football, and not the dull scrappy uninspiring stuff we used to see in the past 2-3 seasons. One thing i don't understand is why Conte brought in so many wingers, yet didn't bring in any leftbacks, even the leftback that he bought, he loaned him out. Both Grosso and De Ceglie are really poor, and could cost you guys some points this season. Another thing Juve needs to work on is defending set pieces, the defending always seems to be awkward in free kicks and corners.
Ziegler was bought for Del Neri, and Conte didn't want him, sure he and Marotta should've considered buying another one with Reto going, but i think that not many LB were available at the end of the Mercato, so it's better to wait and buy an actual improvement rather than an average one like Ziegler ( Jeremy Mathieu :xfinger: )
