No. Our overrated players have mostly been playing the way they've been playing for 2 (glorious) seasons because of this man. He may not be perfect, Conte, but he's a top coach. If we leave this bunch of players to another coach, it's gonna be a lot worse, trust me.
:agree:

If he can't make them pull their heads out of their asses I don't know who can.

He should finally use Gio properly

Losing to fiorentina has some hints of last year losing to inter.
Unimpressive performances before that game and wakeup that followed, of which I hope will happen this year too.

If we fail to get beyond the group stage in the CL, and finish 4'th in the league, should Conte get sacked?
you're kidding right?

this is the same guy who won a scudetto in his first season by playing trash like pepe, bonucci, boriello, marchisio and vucinic as first team players.

Wow. Surprised by the responses so far. I'd understand keeping him if we finish 3'rd (which would still be a massive disappointment), but keeping him if we get bumped out of the group stages in the CL and failing to qualify for next year's edition?! You guys are very loyal supporters of this man.
2 consecutive league titles and supercups, in record breaking seasons and club legend? it's hard to be disloyal towards him

You have short memory. Conte deserved this loyalty after 2 scudetto and 1/4 CL.

Most of them, bar Vidal. We have been used to seeing a Godlike Barzagli, a great Marchisio, a revitalized Pirlo (who looked finished under Allegri), a Lichtsteiner who has performed like a Zambrotta and a young player like Pogba (who was discarded by Man United) turn into something that resembles a top player. The list goes on. Many players have performed to the max (and beyond) of their potential under Conte. Now, I'm not saying those aren't good or very good players, but I believe Conte has played a huge part in bringing about their true potential, or in Pirlo's case, rediscover it.
So? what if we play the rest of the season like this, riding our luck and showing 0 hunger & grinta. it's not the kind of thing you can just play through.

Conte has done nothing wrong to warrant dismissal.

People need to stop being foolish because if he is out then prepare for another 6 years of purgatory.

How do you know it is going to be 6 years of purgatory? No one was expecting him to be this successful in such a short span of time. Hence, another success story with a new coach with fresh ideas isn't out of the question.

I am not saying we should let him go, but there is nothing to suggest that his successor is doomed to failure.

Fresh ideas that are no longer fresh and now he has no clue how to change things.

When will you realise that Conte cannot manipulate his players to stop doing dumb shit?

Conte's biggest asset is his motivational skills. This is where he truly excels. Unless we can find someone with the same level of skills in that area, I don't see another success story coming about just like that. He's not bad with tactics and subs either, although I would say these are attributes that come lower on his list of strengths. Overall, we are talking about a top coach. Unless Didier Deschamps comes calling, which he won't, who could we possibly replace Conte with that would produce similar or better results? I think you're gonna have a problem putting together such a shortlist. We have to stick with Conte. He has trolled the entire world into believing that we are a world class team. We are a very good one, sure, but I have no doubts were we to take Conte out of our setup, a lot more cracks in this current squad would start to show.

he can't tell them to wake the fuck up?

you're speaking about the players like they are drug addicts that can't be helped.

and that asset is proving to be a liability this season...

Perhaps he isn't as motivated as he was, and the players aren't as responsive. I don't know. I am just throwing shit out there and seeing if it sticks :D

I feel that Conte will eventually leave, whether it be in a year or 5, but I don't think he is gonna stay here for 20 years a la Alex Ferguson.
