Most unrealistic poster on here by far, far, far.

I honestly couldn't give a shit about the formation issue as long as we are doing the business. Take a look back a couple of years before being so spoiled, we came from absolute dross off the back of enforced financial ruin, and like it or not, are very much finding our feet at the elite level.

We can talk about trying to match Bayern and Barcelona years down the line, plural being more than two, because that's how long it took those teams to build.

at this rate it will only be another ~2 more years imo
That's optimistic, unless you mean as a potential CL winner. Barcelona (late 00s, early 10s) are viewed by some as the best club side ever, whilst Bayern are currently a machine (albeit still unproven under Guardiola).

We could win the CL with the right conditions, as could several other teams.

have we been so successful like bayern and barca? we aren't even close to 2002-2003 juve or even less 1996-1999 / 1983-1985 juve yet.

not my fault that you're so mediocre that you accept 2 scudetti when the competition were pretty weak as being 'very successful'.
Wow you are so dumb. You have been unbelievably spoilt you have no right to even call yourself a fan

We could win the CL this season with luck, but to be on 'their level' in all aspects I don't think is too far away.
It is far away.
Soon enough you'll realize that we need to spend big to compete with those clubs and that will take quite a bit of time before wecan afford to do that.
Bayern took some good 5-6 yrs to be at the level they are right now.

I wouldnt exactly agree that we dont spend a lot. Ok maybe not quite to bayerns extent but in perspective a lot still. We are still in the early of our business model and only begining to reap the rewards namely from the new stadium

and we are already getting 3 years into the cycle. bayern went from not that great mid 2000s to CL final 2010.

Yea, in like 2003 and 2004 we were out of the CL in the group stages.

We cut the fat from the team and bought a bunch of players, then we brought up young players like Bastian and Lahm.
And there is the key to the success right there.

Supplement your high profile purchases with the proper players from the youth system.

The teams who spend the most, don't always win. I think that has been proven more often than not in the past decade.
