Hopefully. But the players are not obligated to deal with that sort of treatment, despite even being under contract. The contracts are overruled by labour laws, and they are getting better and better each year (from the employee's perspective), even in Italy.

Times have changed, and I'm afraid this Ventrone guy might be too old school for this modern era. Where the power players have over clubs is greater than ever before.

Hopefully everything works out, though, if he were to arrive

We're doing fine without Ventrone, though.

There's no saying throwing such an extreme character into the mix will have a positive impact.

Only certain individuals could cope with that kind of shit. If we have a bunch of players who can, then great, I'm all for it, but this training ground-sadist could also disrupt the harmony within the squad.

It's a gamble.
Pussies gtfo!

Over analysis J. This would be a great move because this team and the players are already used to a rigorous training schedule under Conte. With Ventrone, it'll just get better if Conte believes it. If the former is a loose cannon, I can understand, but as long as Conte is around to deal with things, nothing is going to get out of hand. We'll be the 'Marine' machine. ;)

Yes, yes, but people - including yourself - are writing that this "would be a great move" or fantastic or fapworthy or whatever, and I'm just pointing out that a lot has happened since he was last at the club.

I can see how getting him could prove to be very beneficial to us, but it's not a given. That's all I'm saying.

He sounds like an absolute fucking psycho :D

Sign him up again. The Juve of the 90s were all absolute machines. Fuck the doping bullshit, if this animal was in charge and got us to play like absolute warriors, maybe we can use him again for the extra boost.

Bringing back this guy probably means Conte wants us to play with more intensity and pressing, like we did in 2011/2012. He wants all of our players to be at peak physical condition throughout the season. We could even see a change in system again.
