Stupid RC from the ref who had no idea what he was doing. Anyway I think he had a great first half and was solid in the 2nd.

Both of the cards were stupid, he was eager to prove himself. He sought great defensive capabilities though, if honed can be a better defender than bonucci...

I second that! Yes, they were 2 bookable offences, but FIGc never play fair, where Juve are concerned. Ref booked our players for the least wee thing but ignore the fouls made by the opposition. Inler should have been sent off, but wasn't! Toilet brush heid Hamsik committed a few cardable offences too! Maggio was a dirty swine too!

Are you kidding? They werent ugly at all (trust me, this was a mild game from them aggression wise). Plus the ref were giving us soft fks for most of the 2nd half, defenitely should not complain about him at all (especially complain about FIGC in a game we got an offside goal), except blocking the pass that led to Ogbonna's 2nd yellow (both very deserved yellows), but shit happens.

:agree:

I also like how he was given the trust to man-mark Higuain during the first half.

Second yellow wasn't a silly one when taken in isolation, though he perhaps shouldn't have got so tight when already booked.

It was the first booking that was really stupid.

His first one was extremely dumb. Second one the ref left him in a very bad situation, but also the ref couldn't do much else after that, he had to send him off.

I thought he was the only weak player out there.
Have you seen much of Higuain, Callejon or anything dangerous happening on Ogbonna's side of defence? I remember one shot which he didn't close down, but other then that I really can't recall. He was confident, won duels, plenty of headers and also consider that he's still not regular. He'll only get better with each game he plays. About yellow cards, the 2nd one was bs, I mean ffs ref basically gifted them counter attacking opportunity and Ogbonna was rather unfortunate one.

Ogbonna did well by taking town that nipples guy. At this point it was more important not to concede (not giving them any chance to believe they can get a result here) rather than staying 11 vs 11. Even if we had 2 goal lead it would be a dramatic end because they would push harder.

I'm very happy with Ogbonna display. Finally he shows he's worth his price tag. I can't blame him for anything.
