If Juventus would have signed Sanchez, Darmian, Gagliardini, Sensi, Barrella, Dzeko, also let Bastoni play then this forum would have been on fire for 24/7. Hell, people would have been upset even with Lukaku's transfer from Manchester - imagine the meltdown of Post ironic because of it lol

"deadwood" Lukaku
"Italian jabloni" Sensi, Gagliardini, Barrella, Darmian, D'ambrosio
"Old and finished" dzeko, Sanchez, perisic
If we signed Barella and Bastoni some on the forum would maybe disagree, but a lot would like it. But after a few months people would love them (maybe except you posting screenshots of Bastoni bad defending? no idea). Same as with Locatelli and Chiesa. If we signed Dzeko that would obviously be a top move. The type of player we miss and still at a high level, for a few years. Sensi was also good before the injuries, you can find posts here where people envy inter for signing him for 12M or something. Gagliardini at the time he was signed many on tuz wanted, it felt like we lost out to inter. He turned out a flop but it's not like people would complain at the time of the transfer. Darmian and Sanchez are cheap depth options, they aren't that important

sanchez isn't cheap by any means. also, some think that locatelli has been a flop. you can't please them all.

anyway, barella and bastoni are top players, i wanted both, even though barella looked like a prick and a hater so he was never going to sign for juve.

B81 would possibly rage quit watching football altogether if we signed Darmian
Yes but he was a decent transfer. 3M for a guy that can play both sides and CB too?

I don't remember the Sanchez transfer but I didn't have the impression they paid a lot. Maybe you mean wages? Still, he was signed as a depth option, and he's fine for that. But I can definitely see why people wouldn't want him after his ManU episode

Different environment. Different role. Different era.

Marotta has been making plenty of wrong moves in his last few years at Juve. His successor's disastrous business made Marotta looks like he was some kind of a messiah.

The turning point for Juve was the appointment of Antonio Conte as a coach and it was Agnelli's choice.
His wrong moves built a tteam that went to the CL twice and then dethroned Juve. But im sure Conte went to Inter for Agnelli as well. I love how everyone dishes hate or love of a board member based on what transfers they like and dont. Our squad would not look so depleted if Beppe was around. He built complete teams and not huge players while ignoring other areas
