Marotta has been kicking our ass since he left too while Agnelli still had his role. Simple facts
Different environment. Different role. Different era.

Marotta has been making plenty of wrong moves in his last few years at Juve. His successor's disastrous business made Marotta looks like he was some kind of a messiah.

The turning point for Juve was the appointment of Antonio Conte as a coach and it was Agnelli's choice.

It's easier to improve on shit, Marotta has done that twice. It's hard to keep building on success.
If Juventus would have signed Sanchez, Darmian, Gagliardini, Sensi, Barrella, Dzeko, also let Bastoni play then this forum would have been on fire for 24/7. Hell, people would have been upset even with Lukaku's transfer from Manchester - imagine the meltdown of Post ironic because of it lol

"deadwood" Lukaku
"Italian jabloni" Sensi, Gagliardini, Barrella, Darmian, D'ambrosio
"Old and finished" dzeko, Sanchez, perisic

You missed Hakimi. But that's relative to us, not shit Inter from before Marotta and Conte joined. Missing the point really.

Lol, Hakimi was insane for Borussia, people would have liked his transfer.

Inter's line up has been good enough to fight for scudetto, it's not like Marotta came there as if it was Juventus 2008. As for Marotta's transfers - he has spent 120m+ on Radja, Sensi, Lazarro, Politano, Eriksen and they all flopped there.

True but it certainly doesn’t help building on continued success when the president fires Marotta and beefs with everyone from club legends, coaches, fans, officials, etc.

Maintaining success can be relatively easy with discipline and planning. Both of which this club fail at for 5 years now. That falls squarely at the feet of Agnelli.

Has Agnelli ever publicly invited ADP?

sounds like a publicity stunt to garner some likes on social media
No, Del Piero was persona non grata. He was invited by Arrivabene and Arrivabene is Elkann's man so he doesn't give a fuck about Agnelli's wishes.

The presence of Del Piero in the stands has sparked calls for the retired player to take on a directorial role at the club, perhaps even replacing President Andrea Agnelli.
“His presence is absolutely not a problem. Del Piero and the kids from his academy were our guests at the game last week and we considered it only right to give him the opportunity to salute his fans.
“Del Piero is an icon of Juventus, nothing more and nothing less.”

This dramatic made up rivalry and dispute between Elkann and Andrea is hilarious :howler:

Imagine John and Andrea at the Agnelli family dinner table arguing about Del Piero invitation to the stadium.
What rivalry?

Can’t rival with someone who pays the bills and cuts the cheques unless you’re plain stupid.
