Buckhalter was soo good. He made it through every season. Westbrook Barely ran the ball.

Today, Jackson is Phily's only proven receiver.

Bottom line. McNabb is a good QB. With him DC will be better. Philly is a trash town and Andy Reid is fat.

The NFC East is way overrated and probably not as good as the NFC South.
Buckhalter averaged nearly 5 yds per carry splitting time with Westbrook.

They didn't have that one guy who would get 1500 yards per season, but guess what Washington doesn't have one either anymore. Johnson is garbage, Portis is too beat up, and Parker is beyond fragile at this point.

And McNabb is a good Qb, I never said that.

But he is not a GREAT QB like everyone is saying he is. or was.

And Santana Moss is Washington's only proven receiver. So, who would you rather have, Moss or jackson?.

And the rest of Washington's WR's are far more unproven than Philadelphia's.

Dude. Stop treating me like I'm a Redskins fan.

I'd rather have Andre Johnson than either of those bums.

I just hate when people say McNabb is overrated. If anything he's been underrated for his entire career. Now that he gets a little press, everyone gets upset.

I am not "treating you like a Redskins fan". I am treating you like a knowledgeable football fan, and trying to have a discussion with you.

If you don't want to, then fine, but don't make comments such as "Philly's wr's and tight ends are far worse than the redskins", when you can't back it up

Well it's my opinion that the Redskin have been a QB away from having a decent squad for the last 3 seasons. You can throw stats at me all day, but that's not really going to matter when you consider how garbage Jason Campbell is.

You can say Johnson, Parker, and Portis are washed up and the O-line has nobody all you want. But all three of those guys are capable of 100 yard games and if used properly in a platoon system under Shanahan's zone blocking scheme they could be very effective. The zone blocking Shanahan uses is a great system because it require neither a fantastic offensive line nor a great running back. That's why I disagree with you. This isn't going to be Jim Zorne's Redskins where the running backs do 12 dive plays a game and the QB counts to ten before throwing to a post route while the defense is in cover 3.

Since when have you started poetry?
I've been dabbling a bit here and there :D

I've liked McNabb since his 'Cuse days. I don't care for the Eagles though or any other team in the NFC Least.

Texans signs the Rack Attack to a two year deal. Kris Brown's days are numbered. A shame as he's the last original Texan.
Good signing

Old, Old, and Old.

their offensive line is in shambles, and quick, name a WR on the Redskins???
Exactly

Moss isn't the receiver he used to be and the OL is going to get an already injury prone McNabb killed

If Washington drafts Okung, and then pries Marshall out of Denver (lord knows what assets they'll use for that... next year's #1?), their offense would be... well, it will probably still be a bit limited. That O-line is probably the worst in all of football, IMO Portis is done, I think that Johnson is in the same boat... both were top tier players in their prime, but that time is past.

Washington needs to fill a lot of positions on Offense - they need 2-3 new OL just to firm up that line. I just don't see them being able to effectively run the ball.

I could obviously be wrong.

I actually liked this trade for the Skins, and I love coach Shanahan. I really didn't mind the trade for Philly either; a couple quality picks, Kolb looked pretty good in his starts last season, and Vick is a nice safety net.

Also, just chiming in about Philly's receivers, to say that Maclin is going to be flat out awesome. I wouldn't worry about their options in the passing game.

Fuck, I can't wait for the draft...

Washington will basically have no choice but to draft Okung, unless Detroit pulls off a shcoker and takes him to protect Stafford.

And although Okung is the best OT tackle in this draft, I definitely see him as being a notch below not only Jason smith, but also Jake Long as well
