Washington will basically have no choice but to draft Okung, unless Detroit pulls off a shcoker and takes him to protect Stafford.
If I was Detroit, I would be seriously considering a Okung. Those DT's are obviously game changers, and hard to pass up, but that Detroit OL needs help badly. It might make some sense to maybe move down a slot or two and protect Stafford...

If Charles Brown is somehow still there for them in the 2nd, then a SUh/Brown draft for them should just make them pack up their shit and just go back home. Their work will be done.

BTW, I hope to do the first ever Juventuz NFL Mock Draft in the next few days

Absolutely, that would be a perfect scenario for Detroit... and from what I've seen/read of the mocks, it's very possible that Brown will be there.

You should definitely put together a mock... just make sure you take care of our needs in it... :D

Btw, good news that Clausen had such a solid workout... a few of the teams that draft before us have needs at QB and OL (Seattle, Buffalo, maybe even KC - I'm not a Cassel fan).

Oh Boy.

So, Santonio Holmes gets traded to the Jets for a 5th round pick.

Let's take a look at that Jets offense now, shall we?

An All-Pro offensive line.

Their running backs are Shonn Greene, Leon Washington, and LT

Their WR's are Santonio Holmes, Braylon Edwards, and Jerricho Cotchery

Dustin Keller is their starting TE.

Come on now. That almost isn't even fair.

That corps is nuts. If Ryan shows some confidence in the QB and gives Sanchez the green light that could be a devastating offense. Heck, even if Ryan continues to be conservative with the passing game that still could be nuts.

Then you think of the defense.

What was Pittsburgh thinking?

The same defense that added Antonio Cromartie for basically nothing, and are going to add Jason taylor as a situational pass rusher?

That defense?

If Mark Sanchez can put together a solid season (doesn't need to be spectacular), I think the Jets will be the team to come out of the AFC. Fuck, those fans have gotta be excited right about now.

I just realized how much work it will take to do a mock draft
Yeah, to do it properly would certainly require a decent amount of study. I'd rather see your piece on potential options for Serie A, for after all of this Calciopoli madness subsides.

It was beautiful watching that shit hole reduced to rubble... Fuck the Cowboys!

Jason Campbell signs a 1 year tender

Congrats to him and the Washington Foreskins

It seems that they don't want to part with their smoking gun at the QB 2 spot :sergio:

It probably makes it easier to trade him, if nothing else.

You can't trade a restricted free agent unless he has signed his tender offer sheet.

See: Brandon Marshall.

Exactly, Sergio. Campbell's tender is necessary to preserve the asset, he definitely wants out of Washington, and I'm sure they'll move him if they get any reasonable offer. Guy doesn't have a ton of value right now, obviously.

Holy fuck... 5 years, 50 million for Marshall, total (tender and new contract included). That's a whole lot of cheddar right there... and of course the 2 second rounders. Miami paid out the fucking ass... there's no doubt Marshall is a superstar, but damn. Glad the 49ers didn't do something like this (not that they were ever in the market). Of course, I suppose this means no Dez to the 49ers at 17.

Which obviously wouldn't be a great 'need' pick for our boys, definitely other areas need strengthening first... but I'm an ex receiver. Hence the hard on for ultra skill guys like Crabtree and Bryant.
