Yep. Great QB, but not the worth the $11 Million for one season the Eagles would have had to pay him, so a good deal all around. Should really help the Foreskins contend in the NFC East.
It's pretty simple case of the Eagles are idiots. You have a 6 time Pro Bowl QB that's taken the garbage Eagles (their defense sucks, running game is a joke) to 5 NFC Championships and 1 Super Bowl, owns every QB record possible for your franchise, and you trade him for a 2nd round pick to your division rival who really need a good QB.

McNabb's the man. Booed on draft day, tossed to the curb in favor of a guy who's only ever been a back up and an ex-con. Takes it all with a smile on his face.

The worst thing is that now the Redskins might actually be good. Larry Johnson, Willie Parker. If Haynesworth stops counting his money for a minute this could really be annoying.

This Great QB has a career completion percentage of less than 60% in a West Coast Offense that stresses accuracy.

He also has only played a full season once since 2004, and aside from this year, when every quarterback bowed out of the Pro Bowl, the last time he made it was in 2004.

He also showed in the Super Bowl that he cannot handle the big time pressure, and last year, he singlehandedly made Dallas look like Super Bowl Contenders in the last two weeks of the regular season and first week of the playoffs.

Maybe the Eagles are fools, I don't know. But I would think that Andy Reid knows something here about McNabb, since he has always been his staunchest defender. And I think that he feels that Kevin Kolb is ready, especially since Kolb intimated on more than one occasion that if he didn't get a realistic chance to start, he was going to walk as a free agent next year, and being that he is also in the west coast offense, Philly would be in a really bad way if that were to happen.

It would take another Qb a couple of years to be fully acclamated in their system, and although they have gotten a lot younger on offense (McLain, McCoy, who I think is going to be fantastic, and Jackson), their window is closing, especially Reid's.

I think he'll have a big season for the Deadskins. Especially if Johnson, Parker and Portis can manage some type of running game.

I've liked McNabb since his 'Cuse days. I don't care for the Eagles though or any other team in the NFC Least.

Texans signs the Rack Attack to a two year deal. Kris Brown's days are numbered. A shame as he's the last original Texan.

We'll see how it turns out.

I don't like McNabb but he carried that organization. They're absolute crap and I hope they're even worse now.
Actually, I think just the opposite.

I think too much is being made of how this affects Philadelphia.

Kolb is ready to be the QB there, they have great young weapons in Maclin and Jackson, and Lesean McCoy is going to be a stud at RB.

If they struggle, it won't be because of their offense.

Old, Old, and Old.

their offensive line is in shambles, and quick, name a WR on the Redskins???
They've got Santana Moss, who hasn't had a decent ball tossed his way in about three years, a couple of young guys with potential and probably the best tight end combination in their division.

Like I said Sergio. McNabb could have good season if they manage a running game.

Not that a running game is necessary for McNabb to be successful. Phily never had one and their receivers and tight ends are far worse than the Redskins.

Cornell Buckhalter and Brian Westbrook say hello. Those were his running backs, but I am guessing that you thought that Westbrook was garbage.

And their receivers and tight ends are worse than the Redskins???

Here are the WR for the Eagles, keeping in mind that Mcnabb had these guys last year.

Desean Jackson
Jeremy Maclin
Jason Avant.

Their TE is Brent Celek, but I will save you the trouble of looking up his numbers last year.

76 Rec, 971 Yds, and 8 TD's.

And the couple of young guys with potential on the Redskins, I'm assuming that you mean Malcom Kelly and Devin Thomas.

Sorry, but I, or anyone else with a minimal amount of football knowledge would take Jackson and Maclin over those two any day of the week. And I would absolutely take the combo of Maclin, jackson, and Avant over any 3 of the redskins wideouts.

And you are forgetting one important thing.

The redskins have no offensive line. Both of their starting tackles retired this year, and their best lineman is a broken down Casey Rabach.

Buckhalter was soo good. He made it through every season. Westbrook Barely ran the ball.

Today, Jackson is Phily's only proven receiver.

Bottom line. McNabb is a good QB. With him DC will be better. Philly is a trash town and Andy Reid is fat.

The NFC East is way overrated and probably not as good as the NFC South.
