We have needed to address the OL problem for about a decade now, so we better damn well get Okung or that Hall guy from Texas. We could probably use two top recruits for the OL. Maybe we can snag your Brown guy from USC.

If we don't address the OL I'm going to slice my own head off.
If they grab Russell Okung in the first, and if Charles Brown is still there that early in the 2nd round, they should draft both, pencil in Okung on the left side, Brown on the right side for the next 10 years, take the rest of their draft picks, and go home.

their work would be done

If you are talking about Chris Hall from Texas, hes's a center, and at best a 3rd round prospect.

The center from Florida is probably the only 1st round center prospect, and he's late 1st round, if that.

Sounds good to me. We'll see how it goes down though. I doubt they'll take that route.

Good signing by the Giants, landing Antrell Rolle, although the money, especially for a safety, is extremely high. Ed Reed and Troy Polamalu must be the two happiest guys in the NFL right now not named Antrell Rolle after hearing about those contract numbers.

Also, Brandon Marshall of the Broncos is paying a visit to Seattle this weekend. He's a restricted free agent, with the 1st and 3rd tender, so if they can't agree to some sort of trade, Seattle may very well offer him a contract with a "poison pill" in order to render Denver unwilling, or incapable of matching it. That would give Denver 3 1st round picks in this draft though, with Dez Bryant sitting there at #6.

Yep. The O-line is still limp-wristed.

Again, I'm surprised to see money actually coming out of the McCaskey family ("McCaskey" being Irish for "ass cheeks clenched so tight as to make diamonds out of peat"). But dumping it on overpaid decent players isn't the sanest way to correct that.

yes, the Bears owners aren't known for shoveling out the dough for any players so I was quite surprised to see how they approached this offseason. Nonetheless, adding a player like Peppers will help your Despecially after the loss of Adams. In fact you upgraded in a major way. Also by signing Taylor, you give Forte a few more years on his career.

I think the O-line will be addressed as well but overall you can't be disappointed at how you have kicked off the offseason if you're a Bears fan.

How?

They have no picks, and they have very little of their budget left from blowing it all on a dog who only plays when he wants to.

I'm not sure on precisely how but they do have picks, perhaps just not early rounders. And they have to address the issue with the O-line coaching as well.

And as a correction, they need to address O-line and WR

The Bears have 6 draft picks, they just dont have any in the first two rounds.

And this draft is the most top heavy OL draft in over a decade. I f you don't have any picks in the first 2 rounds, good luck

And when I sad that they had no picks, I would think that you guys knew what I meant
