Nice throw, Tebow. Right to the shortest guy on the field.

Love it. That guy will get owned in the NFL.
His mechanics and his delivery are just :sergio:

You can't keep holding the ball at your side once it is snapped. You need to hold the ball up above your shoulder, parallel with your helmet.

It seems as if his arm has gotten a bit stronger, but he still has no touch on the ball

So the fags at the BCS decided to keep TCU in a corner and not allow them to play someone from a big conference. These retarded bowl games are supposed to be entertaining, with the best schools playing each other no matter what conference they're in. But nah, TCU gets to play Boise State in the "Smaller Market Bowl".

For the love of God, get rid of that shit.

TCU was supposed to open this season by playing at Florida, but they backed out late and Florida had to scramble and fill the game with Charleston Southern.

The Emerald Bowl :howler:

Oh, man, all I can do is laugh

It helps to ease the pain

Now, is it named the Emerald Bowl because of Emerald Almonds?

Well, the Fiesta bowl is a major BCS bowl. Granted, maybe they should have ended up playing Florida, but the Big East is a stronger conference than the Mountain West, and not allowing Cinicnnati to play someone of a high caliber would be an unjust punishment to them as well

Um easy solution here. Match up Georgia Tech's vaunted run game against TCU's defense and let Iowa play Boise in a corn belt match up. But noooo, the BCS guys have to go out of there way to continually screw over the little teams.

It would be easy if there weren't contractual obligations that have to be met in regards to where certain conference winners are supposed to play

On another note it's obvious why TCU and Boise are playing each other and Cinci is play Florida.

The BCS figure Florida can beat Cinci pretty easily. Cinci, TCU, and Boise could easily beat both Iowa and Ga Tech. If that happened the Big East, Mountain West, and WAC will all have to be taken more seriously and a different system would have to be seriously considered.

Easy solution for the BCS to save itself = throw one of the lambs to the slaughter and make the other too play each other.

Iowa is an at large team, so are TCU, Boise, and Florida. The only teams contractually obligated to play in a specific bowl game are Ga Tech (ACC), Cinci (Big East), and the Rose Bowl teams.

The other point that has to be taken into conderation for BCS bowls like this is how well the fan bases "travel", so to speak. Granted, I think that its a pretty flawed way of looking at it, but it is a reality in the big business of Colege football.

Arizona is geographically a lot closer to TCU and Boise State than Florida is for either one of those teams

In the end, until the Mountain West and Western Athletic Conference get recognized as BCS conferences, this is what you are going to get.

This is the first time that 2 non-BCS conferences are playing in BCS bowls

Yes, but there are also specifics for at large teams, in regards to the selection process for the BCS bowls.

That is not Necessarily true in regards to Florida. Due to the fact that FLorida-Alabama were 1-2 in the BCS polls, then the winner would go to the BCS Championship, and the loser would automatically go to the Sugar Bowl. The Sugar Bowl is the SEC's territory, so to speak.

Excuses, fans that travel well will go where ever. If travel distance had anything to do with the match ups, then why is Iowa going to Miami?

Boise and TCU both traditionally have huge fan bases and travel very well. The fact is that it is about match ups. And the BCS being scared to match up power conference players with "mid major" teams that might actually beat them. I don't think they want another Boise vs Oklahoma.

Yeah I guess that's right and I don't mind the Cincinati match up, but why not split up Iowa and GT to give these little guys a shot. What do TCU and Boise have to play for now? These match ups are a slap in their face to be honest.
