We dont need Vucinic,
we need Mancini or Taddei to replace Neddy and probably Mexes to build a proper defense.
De Rossi is wonderful but Roma intends to make him the next Totti, they will never let him go!
I agree that Mancini is inconsistent, but he doesnt have bad days, he is just less impressive some days, i see Mancini as the only player, able to replace Neddy in our left wing. Generally hate Roma's players because of their lousy characters;
Cufre, De Rossi, Mexes, Totti, Mexes, Cassano, i wouldnt like to see any of those troublemakers to create havoc in our team.
Mancini is not in my black list and if Neddy retires, signing a top quality LM will be our priority, esp if we keep our flat 4-4-2 formations, with 2 DMs,
that would mean our wingers will be our only chance of going forward and Mancini is one of the most effective players for doing that!

I have mentioned this many times before in this forum and in the XT forums, we may not just have to look at replacing Nedved, but Camoranesi has been a worry this season as well.
Nedved will retire, or should retire for that matter. But Camoranesi is still a key player for the team and when he doesnt play, it is clearly seen in the way we move forward. However, he is in his 30's now and it seems this season that he has become more injury prone. I believe he can still offer us a lot over the next 2 seasons but it must be said that if these injuries continue, then we need to look at both wings.
Back up isn't that great either...Marchionni should be sold as he is constantly injured while Salihamidzic is just filling up spots in the squad.
