They're not the best of friends at all.. In one match when Benzema got substituted for Ben Arfa they refused to shake hands and then i remember Benzema himself publicaly saying something along the lines that they don't get along with eachtother at all but they will work together for the good of the team
I have also read that they don't get along, I guess we will have to wait and see and time will tell us Fred.

Me too I would throw up if we signed this cunt. Can't explain why, there is just something about the guy and his manners. He is classless to the core, a filthy thug, same as Mexes. His ability as a player is irrelevant in this case because he isn't a phenomenom and there are players on his level but with far better personality.

    got some good news.

cuz AS ROMA wants Crespo and Palladino.

there could be a option for us to keep Iaquinta and get Mancini

so our attacking situation could become something like this.

    Alex
    Trez
    Amauri
    Iaquinta

    since we probably go CL
Iaquinta and Amauri would also be a good pair in front and can get enough playing time also in Serie A and CL

and Trez and Alex aint getting any younger
although you cant see it on them they still score like mad man

he would solve our problems on the flank as he can play both right or left and would eventually be a good replacement for Nedved should he retire

i dont think hes a good replacement for neddy, camo maybe but not neddy. Neddy does a lot of playmaking for us and mancini is certainly not a playmaker. Very good winger but definitely not someone who play a great pass or shoot from outside the box.
And not to forget his inconsistency all over season, and i think he chokes when his teammates don't lift.

No way this guy is Nedved replacement, he likes to moan 24/7, got no skills compared to Nedved , he can be a good player to come from the bench to fill out the gaps or injury problems, but he is no Nedved replacement.

Mancini’s contract at the Stadio Olimpico runs out in 2009, and the Italian press believe that he is likely to leave in the summer unless he signs a new contract in the next month or so.

The 27-year-old has had an inconsistent campaign, which has alternated between some excellent and some poor periods of form.

Yesterday afternoon Mancini was on fine form as he scored twice in the 4-1 victory over Torino in Rome.

"I'm happy for me and Roma,” he said about the game.

“I'm emerging from an unlucky period, I needed to feel important again.

"My contract? I won't speak about it until the end of the season."

A number of top clubs, including the likes of Juventus, Inter and Liverpool, have all been linked with making a move for the winger.

An added bonus is that Mancini would be able to leave for as little as €5m, if he chooses to execute a new FIFA transfer clause.

The Brazilian has scored eight goals in 27 Serie A appearances this season.

His pace and skills don't compensate for the lack of tactical awareness and his inconsistency, I agree.

he is quality, not every game I agree, but he has the potential and look how he would give us so much more options
Neddie left Mancini right and Camo central or Mancini left Camo right
he can also play in a three striker attack
and I haven't even mentionned Giovinco
he would definetly add to our team and we have the quality to bench him if he doesn't perform to our liking

Liverpool could capture Brazil winger Amanatino Mancini for a cut-price £4m as he looks set buy out the last year of his contract at Roma. (Mirror) 29/4/08

well those 4 or 5 millions stated surely are a bargain, but then again, i would think twice if he's worth it. Bringing him in (with neddy still playing) would surely harm giovinco's development and then, my opinion of mancini is not the best i must say. He did some good games, but i have the impression that without totti, mancini just fails to impress. might be my only opinion but i want to point out that making a good game if you have a totti by your side, who serves some good balls, is far easier than without him. I don't know really... consider that with those 5 millions, it's not done yet. He'll demand some higher wages, so all in all, even if his cost isn't high really, it might turn out (too) expensive for our needs nonetheless

he could add a lot to the right wing though...I remember he used to be RB for Roma when he 1st joined them....maybe he could be used in that role again...and 4 mil. quid for him would be a very decent price

im pretty sure we could not get him for £4m, i think for Mancini to be able to use the clause he has to join a foreign team, that is why Liverpool are able to get him at this price.
