Mancini is great and but I`m not sure Barca is going to make him shine
Mancini is good player but he doesn't really shine so to speak, he's a solid player but he'll never be that type of player who can control a game through his skill's..

He could be a leading figure with two other players like at Roma but at Barca with all their stars I think that would be impossible

Mancini Agrees Terms With Inter

It is no secret that Mancini is certain to leave the Giallorossi this summer as his contract runs out in 2009, and he has refused to sign a fresh deal.

Inter and Roma have been involved in transfer negotiations regarding the Brazilian for a while now, and yesterday the player’s agent Gilmar Veloz and Inter director Marco Branca came to an agreement over personal terms.

All that is now required to complete the deal is for the two clubs to agree on a transfer fee. The Giallorossi are said to be demanding around €15m in straight cash.

Inter would prefer to include some players in part exchange, including possibly Marco Andreolli, who is already co-owned by Roma.

However the Stadio Olimpico-outfit have made it clear they will accept cash only. Despite this, it should not be too difficult to find a compromise, and the transfer is expected to be completed within the next week.

Mancini, who has been at Roma since 2003, could be replaced by Udinese star Antonio Di Natale.

Inter expect Amantino arrival
Wednesday 18 June, 2008

Roma star Amantino Mancini has packed his bags and is ready to join Inter after the two sides reached an agreement.

The Brazilian talent was inspirational at times last season, but always seemed reluctant to commit his future to the Giallorossi.

Inter have seized the chance to lure the former Venezia forward, who is set to become new Coach Jose Mourinho’s first new recruit.

Personal terms were agreed after a meeting between the player’s agent Gilmar Veloz and Inter director Marco Branca yesterday and Mancini’s five-year spell at the Stadio Olimpico is set to end.

It is still unclear exactly how much money Roma will receive in the deal, but reports suggest that the capital club are determined to take £10m in cash and are refusing any part-exchange.

Sources suggest that a deal could be officially announced within the week.

Is there a chance we get some star players like Deco who is that type of creative player we need desperately and not Xabi? Chelsea want to sell him. Are we buying Grosso and Zapata for the defence? We dont buy the best palyers. We buy Tiago, Molinaro, Nocerino, Almiron, Legro etc all stupod players.

I envy teams like Inter, Milan, Man Utf, Chelsea etc who buy the best palyers.

If you envy teams like inter get out of a juventus forum and go and celebrate fake scudetto with the idiot nerazurri bastards.

Doesn't it occur to you that at the moment Juventus aren't the most appealing club to play for, not only for footballing but also for financial reasons. If you knew anything about football you would know that Xabi is just as creative as deco and a lot younger so stop complaining

-First of all milan r not bitter than us financially thats why they're in a deep shit now and they're struggling to buy a decent player (galliani just said today that milan r in a financial crisis) so we're definately bitter than them.

-Inter r losers, no matter how much they spend they will always be the joke of europe and we all know that.

-man united and chelsea were just brought by the americans and the russian so before them they were below us even financially, and don't be supprised if things changed to those two clubs in the future (who knows).

-We have a pretty decent team ATM, the attack is great and our midfield is pretty good (gio + alonso if we get him + sissoko + camo thats a very promision mid). our weakest link is the defence but when we think about it (not emotionally) even our defence is decent (andarde is the captain of portugal and a class defender if fit, mellberg pretty solid in the back, chiellini is a class and zebina was a player that capello had faith in both with roma and in juve "when he's calm he can give us some pretty good performances". The biggest prob is molinaro and most likely they'll find a bitter player to take that spot soon.

So the situation is not as bad as u describe it, i know that it may sound unrealistic to some but IMO this team can win things not just in italy but also in europe. I don't like our management much but i think they're trying to build a decent team here that can achieve big things soon so we have to give them some credit here........

Man Utd have always been a rich club, even before the Glazers. They were and will always be a force to be reckoned with in the EPL and Champions League. As much as i hate them, they run the club superbly! And Fergie is a top manager..

Prior to 1968 when they won the European Cup, apart from a couple leagues and FA Cups, Man United were nothing but shit.

1968 was a long time ago Andy, maybe they didnt start out too good, but nowadays they are in the top 5 clubs in the world, and i dont see that changing for a very long while, if ever.

Yeah, but that was 40yrs ago.

However I don't envy to any other team im the world. The way Juve works and is just special and at the end it makes success even sweeter. Secco will give us headaches with his transfer targets, but at the we will forhet all the trouble we had and celebrate our success. Juve have a soul unlike many other teams and that's something money can't buy.

:agree:

Had a great team prior to the Munich Air Disaser, rebuilt to be good from about 66-70, then they let the team get old and they were shit again.

Only since about 92 had the been consistently very good.
