Juventus want Morata back | Football Italia

It’s reported Juventus are interested in bringing Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata back to Turin this summer.

The Spanish international spent two seasons with the Bianconeri, but Real Madrid activated their buyback clause in the summer of 2016.

After just one season back at the Bernabeu, Morata was sold to Chelsea but the Blues almost certainly won’t qualify for the Champions League this season.

That will likely see Antonio Conte leave the club, and today’s Corriere dello Sport reports that could see Morata return to Juve.

The Bianconeri are keen to bring Morata back, the newspaper reports, but the stumbling block could be his wages.

The 25-year-old earns around €8m per season in London, which is more than Juve’s highest-earning player, Gonzalo Higuain, who earns €7.5m.

There is also competition from China, while Morata wouldn’t come cheap as Chelsea paid €80m for him und

Would take him back in a heartbeat.

Sell Mandzukic to China or wherever, and bring back this guy. He clearly loves the club, the environment he played in, the fans etc. And his wife is Italian too, it's a big win-win situation for him and us.
Bring him back ONLY if Mario goes otherwise our money needs to be spent on midfield.

I do enjoy his pace running forward with the ball at defenders.

Strikers have higher market value than a LB who's pretty much been struggling all season anyway.
Yeah but atleast Alex Sandro was a top 3 LB not so long ago, when has Morata been a top 3 player? Never. He was a bench player for us, for Real and now for Chelsea too.

How can we pay even 60mln for him when we're in such a dire need of a midfielder and right back. We prolly get close to nothing for Mandzukic if we intend to sell him and I don't want to sell Pjaca before he even got a shot here.

Yes, but We still need a WC striker.
Higgy played almost all games the last 2 seasons and he has no competition to work his ass

y, Boca got 10.50m selling Tevez to China, I don't think we'll get much more for Mandžukič. if he wants Turkey, we'll loan with an option to buy for 5m which they'll try to negotiate at the end of the loan to be 1.5m

mondolon,

No club has a WC striker to play the second fiddle. Show me the alternatives to Benzema, Lewandowski and Suarez? We've had Mandzukic and Dybala which is totally fine in my opinion. Plus, we still have Kean doing good in Hellas.

Kean is showing good skills in hellas. He is improving.

About morata, lets include sandro in the deal and negotiate. We get a loyal soldier who will make italy his 2nd home for sure, while getting rid of sandro who simply doesnt care anymore.

Thats the only way imo, because thinking more about it, 40 mils is kinda fair for morata, but even that price is steep for us taking into account our crucial needs
