I do not understand why some people judge mandzukic's ability only in bayern away game. Sometimes, Everyone has off day.
He was even not fit in that game.

Good thing in all this could be that meeting next week for Morata.

Marotta himself said there could be negotiations over other Real Madrid players.

They surely have players they don't need at all. Plus, they will be going for other reinforcements so some of the starters wont have place in the first team any more.

What i mean by a classic CF, is someone who don't add to the general play, cant create on his own. Players like Milito, Drogba, Etoo...are players that can create on their one, take the ball and run into defenders, score from outside the box..Something that Mandzukic can't do and Morata clearly can. That's what i meant.
And if can't hold on to Morata, can't see any player we can get that can duplicate what he does for us...
I think you underrestimate Mandzukic then. He is very technical and can run with the ball. Hes not on Moratas level obviously as he might regressed a bit due to his injuries, but hes not you classic CF either

In our setup I actually prefer a CF that doesn't hold on to the ball too much and rather uses one touch passing and flicks. We have Dybala and Pogba for taking on the defenders.

On top of that it looked like wrong opportunity to play him. He's not quick enough to play isolated like that when everyone was sitting behind the ball, he needs someone to pass it to within the first few seconds or to be able to move off the ball and create a problem. Can't blame him for that, the guy was still busting a lung trying despite this.

Mandzukic also brought the best out of Dybala this season. I'm looking forward to him having a season uninterrupted with injury.

Let see what he can do when he is fit and ready against top side.

To be honest there's less competition at Real in his position than there is at Juventus. Benzema has missed a fair amount of football recently and Real don't have anyone to cover of the ability of Morata imo.

I'd really like to see him stay and improve here but his comments aren't overly positive. Plus he's going to be stuck with the Spanish squad this summer. There's a fair chance some of them may try tapping him up.

The irony is that it wasn't really Mandzukic that put Morata as 2nd choice. It was Dybala.

The Tevez-Morata partnership worked well and complimented eachother.

The Dybala-Mandzukic partnership worked better than the Dybala-Morata partnership. If you notice, Morata played his better games when Dybala wasn't playing.

Now that he's basically confirmed he wants to leave the club there's no point in trying to convince him to stay, we don't want half-motivated players in our club. At least he let us know early so we can seriously look into the market as well. I was surprised though that he mentioned PL. I can understand PL suits his playing style better, but I honestly thought it was either go back to Real or stay with Juve. He obviously doesn't mind being used as a profit tool for Real in other words.

The question is not if he is leaving or not, the question is not if it is a good deal or not, the real question is history section or legends section.

This one still has legs regardless ; a lot of things at play. Do we think Arsenal (who are being linked) are going to stump up 50 mill for Morata? This is a club that has only exceeded the 30 mill mark (in transfers) only 3 times in its history.
