It's good for him because it gives him the chance to run into space that even he can create for himself and run at defenders which we know he likes to do.

He also turns defenders quite well when they are on his back when he receives the ball.

If everything goes ok for us, Morata will refuse a return to real madrid.. and real are not in desperate need to bring him back given that benz and penaldo are in great form. But in a couple years... with morata at 25 at his prime... and an older ronaldo, it would be a no brainer to get him back.

What i think will happen... is that Real madrid will excercise their clause and buy him back..but loaning him back to juve for more money. At this point...MArotta should negotiate a way to buy him from real madrid. Like a loan with option or obligation to buy. All of this assuming that Morata will refuse to return there....otherwise, we are fuked.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't he also provide the ball back into the middle of the 6 yard box for Stuaro when he hit it right at Fart?

We either keep him or make a profit from RM.

:agree:

If you noticed, even after Dybala came on, Morata remained as the "LWF", and Dybala occupied Mandzu's spot as a bit of a false 9. And in the spell they were on together the two interchanged positions several times, even leading to Morata being over to the right edge of the penalty box when he took his goal.

I love this. Everyone rants and raves about Barca's attack, and Madrid's attack, and those teams have the same deal going on often. Messi-Suarez-Neymar fluidly interchange positions frequently, or load up one side, or the centre when it benefits them. As do Bale-Benzema-Ronaldo. I've seen Bale all the way on the left touchline before, making runs with the ball.

A front 3 of either Cuadrado-Mandzu-Morata or Cuadrado-Dybala-Morata would be brilliant. Dybala and Morata will frequently be drifting in and out of the centre. It will be like having a False 9 and a Wide 9. The amount of pace, dribbling, ball-skill in that second incarnation with Dybala would be immense. If Morata and Dybala keep developing into top/world class players, we could be looking at one of the best attacks in the world with those 3.... And then think about adding Berardi to the mix. :weee:

+ The other funny bit on that goal is all 3 of our attackers are on the right side. If you look at the video Dybala is trailing in from behind on the right. People get way to caught up with this idea that if Morata or Dybala is on the wing it will waste them because they'll have to remain wide all match. It's simply not the case, and never will be. Morata will be asked to defend the left side, but by no means will he be restricted to it going forward as evidenced by the match.
Good post again. I like the idea of having Dybala in the middle dropping back to help create play and let Morata drift into the space left behind. Very much like Ronaldo and Benzema.

Yep. Dybala as a false 9 dropping deep to help bring the ball forward and create, and Morata as a wide 9 moving centrally from the left when we attack. I honestly believe this would work very very well, especially with Cuadrado on the right to provide some real attacking width on that side of the pitch.

The other thing is that Morata has great defensive workrate, so having him defending that left side when we lose possession, helps both Alex Sandro and Evra much more so than having Dybala as the LWF would.

From what I've learned it seems unlikely that Madrid would buy back Morata. If they valued him then they would have never loaned him out in the first place. Madrid only want the super stars on their roster and unfortunately Morata doesn't fit the bill. But fortunately for us we have a phenomenal player for the future on the cheap.

I think you are too sensitive about marotta posts as of late, or try too hard to spin things positively when dealing with mercato matters.

yes, we make a profit by selling him , 35 mils.... Yay. Rejoice.

But we lose much more. We lose maybe the most promising CF in today´s football.

That profit is not enought. We must keep him, and MArotta needs to think what we can do about it.

Florentino Pérez: "We can bring him back, they are training the player and when the season ends we can pay €10 more million than what they initially paid to recover him,"

I'm definitely getting Morata #9 on a shirt... next year.
You're off to support Real Madrid like all the other Mexicans?

He's a brash piece of crap, nothing has changed as far as Morata is concerned, it's down to the player.

Why would you buy a Real jersey?

Not unexpected, but there goes a sizeable portion of my hope....

It's still down to Morata, but would Perez make these statements if he wasn't sure that he'd come back? I mean it's Perez, so maybe, but still :D

He will be in Real Madrid next summer unless he suffers a long-term injury or have a major dip in form. We gotta accept it and appreciate Simone Zaza.

Now, the Morata deal was very dumb by Marotta.

One way to undo that stupid deal would be to give Madrid a first option on Pogba ahead of Barcelona in exchange for lifting that option on Morata.
