What would be better? keep Morata and spend another 15M or... use the 30M from Real Madrid add those 15M we intended on spending on him and sign a 45M forward?
I like Morata but 45M for lets say Cavani won`t be such a bad move...
what are you talking about?! first Cavani will be officially 29-30 years old and he won't come for less than 50million. Morata is only 22 years old.

It would have been very hard to take Morata from Real without a buyback clause. I think other clubs came forward last year but offering buyback got us ahead in the race. It's a huge blow if he's returning there. Let's hope he's fed up with the club and ask to stay here.
Morata wanted us that was the difference, we made a bad deal handing them that buy-back clause if we thought they wouldn't trigger it, and whoever claims we can use 45m to get Cavani  this place, like Cavani who is now enjoying a stellar season and enjoying himself with such good wages would wanna leave that and join us, 2. like PSG will feel entitled to sell smh.

Too early to say if Perez is speaking the truth or not.

Real didn't spend huge money on a superstar this year, I am sure they will next summer. If they sign another attacker and Benzema stays I am sure Morata will stay here.

I don't get how these rumors of a buyback can even be taken seriously. Real Madrid is a club with immense resources that isn't going to go out and maybe save a few million on a backup striker. Because if Morata is the extent of Real Madrid's ambitions in attack, Perez would be immolated in the streets of Madrid.

Morata may have his long love of the club, but he has to accept being bench material there because Real Madrid will always have ambitions to start someone much more mercenary and better.
