after all roma would want cash with Iaquinta so don't really think it's such a smart deal cause Aquilani will never be our key to midfield simply because of injuries
Aquilani played a lot of matches this season plus many times he was at the bench since Pizarro took his place.

We should wait and see what will happen. His agent said he'll stay there at the end of his career, just like Totti and De Rossi.

aquilani has a had a couple injuries this season but he has still played a few games for roma. He seems to be over these injuries and is back on the field. Just because he had a couple injuries it doesnt mean that he will be injury prone for his whole career..

Exactly. Del Piero had an awful time with injuries post '99 but these past three seasons he's been fine.

new name to come up in the media: Berbatov.
http://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/?action=read&id=103678

Mercato Juve: bollente, a dir poco.

In other words (languages)?
We're close to sign Amauri, but if that deal fails, the alternative is Berbatov. Xabi Alonso has 40% chance to play for us next season, while Hamsik is untouchable. If Amauri arrives, Iaquinta will go to either Roma or Napoli.

If Napoli want Iaquinta that bad then they better be prepared to give us first option/ some kind of future deal on Hamisk or Lavezzi (not that Secco has enough intelligence to suggest that anyway...*sigh*)

Berbatov second choice? Ridiculous, I'd take him over Amauri anyday..

It must be bullshit rumour because there is no logic in Berba being second choice when Man U, Chelsea, Milan etc are after him. While hardly anyone but us really want Amauri.

But if its true, regardless of illogical prioritizing, it would be immense if Berbatov was a serious possibility for us. He is easily 2 times the player Amauri is (and this doesnt mean Amauri isnt very good, Berba is just that good).

Well yeah, but the more I think about it, the more it makes sense (read: delusion :D). Man U are reportedly close to signing huntelaar, and Berbatov definitely wants CL football, so it's a high possibility that Milan are out. That leaves us and Chelsea and Madrid, etc. Still think it's possible :D

Berbatov is too good a player to accept a bench rolse at Juve, plus with every EPL team drooling over him, he would never leave Spurs for Italy...

How the hell Berbatov can be alternative in the first place?

And also,we can't afford Amauri but we can Berbatov who plays for EPL team and who's price tag is ~30mln euros?

We can afford Amauri but we're not willing to meet Zamparini's demands. (Giovinco to Palermo)
