easy tiger...though i admire your enthusiasm, i think amauri AND aquilani would pretty much drain our transfer funds, well almost...enough to not be able to focus on buying a classy defender. I could be wrong, i am not totally sure how much we have to spend on good ol' mercato this summer...

Inter Milan have made Roma midfielder Alberto Aquilani their top summer transfer target.

Controcampo says Inter have spent recent weeks in discussions with Aquilani's father and have reached a preliminary agreement over a �2.7 million-a-year contract.

Inter have also made contact with Roma, though won't consider doing business over their �25 million asking price. The Nerazzurra leadership are willing to include players in their offer to drive the cash price down.

Julio Cruz and Hernan Crespo have been mentioned, though Inter accept negotiations for Aquilani will be a real trial of strength with their nearest Serie A rivals.
