A messenger from God comes for the good of mankind not for its destruction. If a "messenger" wanted me dead I wouldn't accept him as a messenger.
Is the mind of god not inscrutable? Therefore how can you possibly know for what purpose god sends messengers to us?

Through what means? Through messengers?

And why can't he change his mind?
Yeah, through his messengers and the history speaks for itself.

Change his mind? Like he changes his mind about his word (the Qur'an)? Not possible because he has chosen Islam as the final religion for mankind.

So what made those messengers trustworthy then? How do you tell a true messenger from a fake one? By the message he brings which you have prejudged to be authentic?

What do you mean "not possible"? Are you claiming to know the working of god's mind?

Martin it's kinda hard to explain both of those questions when I'm basing them off the Qur'an. If you had read them you would understand why I believed that.

The idea is that if you read the Qur'an it'll speak for itself (which each and everyone would have to discover for him/herself). Me or anyone explaining our beliefs can only (if) spark an interest/curiosity.

Suppose they are both explained there extremely well. You still have to make the assumption that this book is god talking to you, right?

And btw is it me or is the spelling of that name changing every time we try to accomodate those who love it? Koran. Quran. Now you need apostrophes? And what's with Muslim vs Moslem. Pedantry or what?

They're not explained in there....it speaks to me or I see the truth in it if you will, I can see the proof provided in it, etc....therefore I know it is right and is Gods words.

The spelling changes depending on how people pronounce it which differs country to country. Moslem is just retarded, I don't know who started writing it that way.

Suppose it wasn't. How could you tell? For instance, do you guys also have the devil? Cause in our tales the devil is a sly bastard. Suppose he did all that to deceive you and send you the wrong message? How would you know?

I think that was the Englanders.

Well the devil doesn't really exist as an entity. The devil is understood to be the absence of God. Like darkness is the absence of light and cold is the absence of heat.

Not in that sense but in us.
Dude, you're playing with words. If god is omnipresent then he's frickin omni-whyyesI'mheretoo-present. In very strict physical terms it means that every particle in the universe is part of god's being. Because that is the only mode in which you can literally be everywhere.

So no, he's not absent in us.

lol. If you do things that are bad/sinful/unlawful then you are being led by satan - in spiritual terms it means you are going astray - which means there's an absence of God within you.

Does that make any sense?

I'm afraid not. You do not deduct the absence of god so that whatever bad happens, he always gets to walk. No, if you say god is here, then he goes down for what occurs.
