I've never understood fans of big clubs who go in for that sort of thinking. Do they actually think the player is better than the ones they have? Or do they just want to make sure the player won't score against them again?

Provided the cost of Drogba's wages is not going to interfere with Juve signing a longer-term solution in the summer, I don't really see a reason not to sign Drogba.

I take it the poll is for whether you want Drogba, rather than whether you think it will happen? Also, six months is pushing it. It's several million in wages for about four months.

People are calling him a money-grabbber for supposedly wanting a longer deal than Juve are prepared to offer. If he was just looking for money, he wouldn't even be considering joining Juve.

What's with the money-grabber claims? If Drogba was just after money, he would be staying in China. I doubt Juve are offering much more than half what he'll be getting over there.

I'm not sure about the Drogba move. I'm sure he can still be very effective when he wants to be - my concern is about his motivation. He just won the CL with a club he really cares about. At 34, does he really have the desire to try and do that all over again? In the end, I would sign...
