Oh, so that's why the biggest criticism he received at Roma is exactly the same as it is today. Great on his day, but goes missing way too often. Sadly "his day" only amounts to about 1 in 3 games.

Alex Sandro comes to mind :D Another good example of a player that just isn't all he's cracked up to be.

Phenomenal for a few games. But definitely not in general. Regardless, it's not as if Pjanic is the biggest problem we have anyway, but perhaps it's time to face the facts: if he was a truly great player, he'd play a lot of great games. Instead, just by going through a few pages of this thread...

Juve also deserves better from Pjanic, but alas.

Quite overrated for me. Because he plays as many good games as he does poor ones. Away to Real? Sure, absolute brilliance. Home to Sampdoria? Utter disgrace. We improved massively when he went off. As for his stats: he delivers 1 goal or assist every 210 minutes. Khedira every 205...
