He's average (at best) half the time, if not more. Good thing he's fairly clinical and a brilliant free kick taker. Because other than that he's not exactly an impressive player. Let alone a consistent one.

You're absolutely right. Pirlo did need the midfield built around him. And Pirlo was definitely a great player. Shame Pjanic isn't. At least not for me.

That much is obvious every time we face decent opposition. Anyway, it sure is weird how a supposedly great player only shines when the conditions are perfect for him.

I think I was watching a different game as well. Our midfield cost us quite a lot last night.

I guess we need to prepare to be outmuscled & overrun against all somewhat decent sides. That much is obvious.

So, in other words, he'll be useless 80% of the time? Jolly.

Who knows. But I doubt it. Behind the strikers does seem like it would be a better fit. Shame we don't play with those types of formations. :D
